Outrun by SEGA

Anyone here remember the arcade game "Outrun" by Sega? It was one of my favorite racing game from the past. Now we have a new "road" version.

That's probably why the top speed is only about 13 MPH.

I've been wanting to buy a couple arcade machines and a pin ball machine for my game room. Just haven't found a good one yet.

meh....... do Hard Drivin or it other version Race Driving. That was the best driving arcade game.

Or you should have a blond in the passenger seat with her hair being blown back. That would make it a little better :wink:

I have Outrun and Hang-On in my play room.

I am actually looking for a few more including Pac Man and Gauntlet.

I liked the arcade version of "Hard Drivin'" better than Outrun. Although, both are classics.

He spent half the time craning his neck to see around the giant box in front of him and look for the edge of the concrete. Cool idea but he picked a game that gives little to no spatial feedback to the driver.

How come no one mentioned Daytona USA? That was a closet redneck drifting arcade game! I spent so much money on that thing.

That's one I want in my mancave. Oh, and Street Fighter II Championship Edition of course :smile:
