Pics of my Sebring Silver 02 conversion

How did you make the 3D logo for your garage wall?

I got them from CAZ-NSX, he sold his NSX and got a Porsche:confused:

Looks very clean/professional. Nice car too. Not very many Sebring Silvers running around with the silver roof.

I am debating about painting the roof black again

Clear Corner led headlights?

Those looks so fresh and clean.

Where are they from?(nevermind got it, thanks!) and they match the sebring silver so well. Clear and silver is a perfect match.

I would love to see more picture of the Headlight assembly.

Congrats and keep it up!!!

Oh yeah one more thing.

Where did you get the idea for this?

Man I cant my mind off the headlights!

The OEM headlight was modified by clearcorners. http://clearcorners.com/products/acura/nsx1/h_lamp2/ The headlight assemble look just like a stock OEM headlight except for the clear indicators and the rings around the HID projectors.

I first saw the headlight on RyanITV NSX, but it was a clearcorners design. My friend Brandonson with a 04 yellow turbo LoveFab NSX can't get them out of his mind either.

Chris,

Your project came out great. I really like the two pics below and IMO your NSX looks better with the Downforce wing.

That it, I will keep the Downforce wing. The Comptech wing is up for sale.

Congrats on a job well done.

Mike

Thanks Mike, I also think your NSX look great.

Who did your gauge conversion? I would like that done.

I got it form RyanITV, it was the only custom gauge he did before I he did his White 2005 NSX-R clone. He sold his NSX about 11 months ago.

Vancehu had a some custom NSX-R gagues for sale a while back. PM him for info about the gagues.

how hard was the prep for the head lights?

the bumper support, brackets, etc?

i bet the FSM and evof575gtc helped you?

the bumper support, brackets, etc?

I came up with a list for the minimum parts list need for the bumper conversion.
Items in in Blue is optional. you can reuse most of the old parts including the item #10 the Bumper Beam. Items 18 and 21 I would recommend for it to be replace.

For items 17 and 18 you can reuse the old sockets from the front indicators on the 91-01 bumper. Also need to extend the park and indicator wires to reach the 02 headlights.

Aftermarket HID kit instead of the OEM HID to cut cost. There is a hole for the OEM Control unit on the bottom of the headlight that needs to be covered if an aftermarket HID is used.

I bought headlight brackets from Dali, SOS and Downforce. The Downforce brackets were the best.

Can't believe I missed this thread. I love the project build up threads.

Another work of art, the converion/paint is a 10/10 job. Love the BBK and LED headlights.

Add a Evof575gtc type r rear diffuser, then it is perfect.

Jason your NSX conversion got me started on my conversion. I PM you about if I should used OEM or Aftermarket Bumper. I took your advice I went with the OEM Bumper and to make sure I got all the rubber seals and small parts.

Mode4 Type-R Diffuser soon.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I must admit I have been losing sleep over the headlights. You guys have to see this car in person with just the led rings on. It looks SICK !!!!

Great pics Chris !

how hard was the prep for the head lights?

Bryan (I1O101I) and I did the prep and the wiring for the headlights. I used a dremel to cut the headlight housing so the low beam adjuster will fit. The Downforce headlight brackets were the ones that fit the best. Evo575GTC suggested removing the low beam adjuster, so no cutting is need. I want to keep the headlight adjuster so I did the cutting.

I had the body shop grind and paint the housing so it will look new again.

Wow Chris, I wish I could make my Sebring like yours one day. Definately a car that you can't put a price on. Everything you did is so tasteful. I have some new stuff coming out that I'm sure you can use. How much were the headlights to get it done like that? $1500~$2000? I couldn't find a price quote on the website.

I can't wait for more Downforce stuff in carbon fiber.
Good news for my NSX, but bad news for my pocket.

The headlights were done at clearcorners, the price is $1625.00 for the NSX-R led conversion. Contact Mike at Clear Corners, he is a very good guy. Their products looks 100% better in person. I am going to get my side indicators, front and rear from clearcorners soon, because I did not get my indicators shave when the car was in the paint shop.

NSX ready for the paint shop, drove it there with no bumper.

Thanks for the kind words and the compliments guys. Just to clear up some confusion, the base price for the conversions actually start at $1125.

Keep up the nice work (and the good pics!). ;-)
