Powder Coating Opinion

All right gentlemen... I need some help deciding on which rims I shall be rolling with. Either 16/17 94-01 stock rims, or 17/18 SSR Comps. Ideally I'd powder coat them white, but open to suggestions. My photochopping skills suck so here are some original pictures. I hope people on here are smart enough which rim is which. Thanks.

SSR's, satin black, but have them tape the lips before they apply the powder.

All black is too much black, machined lips look great, especially with the concave rear spokes:

7 spokes look terrible in black, it's better to sell them and keep the cash, imo.

I beg to differ !!!

I think Red NSX, with ALL black rims (like many of the GT cars have) is sic !

If you want to get rid of those SSR's I will take them, blast them and powder coat them completely black !

IMO I think the best look, no lip at all on the rim, flush with the wheel well or tucked just within the wheel well with an all black-satin rim !! Yeah !

my two cents.... white rims on a Red NSX look at littel to "tuner" for me.

Ironically, for their different color variations, all of the wheels pictured on this thread are the same set :tongue:

Is that just plain "white" or a special white like GPW or CW?

i believe its more white than GPW or CW.
