ALSO.........there will be a Street Fighter IV tourney at participating Gamestop locations next saturday 2/21 with qualifiers advancing each weekend until the final tourney at San Francisco on 4/18 and the winner takes home a sweet Street Fighter IV arcade game valued at $15,000.

BRING YOUR GAME BIOTCHES!!!

 looking forward to it! didn't preorder any of the arcade sticks though, kind've thinking that i should've done it, but thats ok. It'll be fun either way!

I hope I can remember all of my combos from the SF2 days.

On a side note, race pro is coming out for XBOX360 on the same day as SF4. So next week should be a busy gaming week for the fire ball shooting, hurricane kicking racing fans.

Sweet! I'm building a MAME cabinet just so I can play the original SF2 and a few other arcade games from my youth like R-Type and 1943 using real arcade controls. SF4 looks pretty bad-ass, but I imagine it won't be as much fun with the game controllers as it would with a real arcade control panel.

I would have done much better in high school had SF2 not existed. Good times....

lol, my little bro told me the same thing not too long ago.

I picked it up today after Jujitsu today and I kid you not the game inflicted a greater injury to me than 3 hours of Jujitsu training did. I have painful blister on my left thumb. Damn this great game.

Picked it up yesterday too. Really fun to play and the resolution on the graphics is outstanding. Normally when I play in the theater it looks slightly lower res due to the sheer size of the screen, but the art style on this one makes it all very smooth. I haven't played Street Fighter in forever so I'm not ready to go online for a while, but I'm definitely playing it in style!

Too bad the Xbox D-pad sucks donkey balls. They made the moves easier to pull off than I remember. When I play the HD Remix on Xbox Live I have a much harder time doing the same moves with the D-pad.

I photoshopped the game image on the screen since it looks better than a screen with a big PAUSE menu on it, lol.
What happened to the replay feature guys?

dude...can I come over to your house and play?

I picked mine up yesterday when it came out and played until 4:30am. Yeah, the wife wasn't happy. I've been playing SF2 HD Remix heavily using Guile for the past month so I'm having a hard-time playing him on SF4.

I'm loving Sagat though..

Happy Gaming..

That's a looooong drive from NorCal.

Maybe if we organized a tournament with enough people and a buy-in, winner takes all. I wouldn't do so well
just yet, but at least I don't have to drive.

lol....my in-laws live in Pomona and I'm down there all the time. And actually I bought me NSX in Corona a little over a year ago.

If you ever know in advance that you'll be down this way on a weekend, just PM me. If I'm in town and around you can stop by for some SFIV. I can't say I'll give you much game, but I will be a better player by the time we're done.

I like to go up to Monterey for various races every year when I can make it. This year I think a few of us are going in May for the Le Mans race at Laguna Seca. It's been a while, but we try to hit San Francisco on Sat night and hook up with some NorCal club members.

Getting ready to do some battle. The normal controller makes it hard to pefrom the moves and I think my new one isn't going to help much. I will probably leave it packaged and sell it. I heard they are hard to find. I also saw that they have another controller which is more "arcade" style so I will get that one.

I have a long flight to Singapore tomorrow so I will read up on the SFIV book and should have all the knowledge I need to master the game upon my return....
