subwoofer delete

Can someone please tell me, or show me how to take the OEM subwoofer out?

Pretty easy....pull out the floormat, pull back the carpet, unscrew the aluminum cover, unscrew the enclosure, unplug, remove, re-install carpet. :wink:

Cover plate, I believe. The manual has a picture of it. In any case, you'll spend about 10 minutes.

Correct, cover plate/footguard...pics on the link BrianK provided.

The cover plate would be unsupported so you would need to make up spacers or just leave the sub in place.

Why are you looking to take the thing out, anyway? It's not really heavy, and if you're going to replace it with something else, you wouldn't want the plate in there.
