Anyone have a good HD video camera that they would recommend? Something that can capture the sound? Phone camera just don't seem to capture the sound that well.

How's the microphone on it?

My HTC EVO phone already does 720pHD.

Would this camera produce movies like this?:

I'm sure you can find a better camcorder for cheaper though.

Impressions on the exhaust? Was it everything you wanted?

Yep. It's light, TIG welded. and most importantly CUSTOM-MADE to my SPECS.

So it's unique. The feedback I get from car and non-car folks is that my exhaust sounds mean and nothing that it belongs on the track when I go WOT.

I just had the "heavier but quieter" version shipped to me by STMPO. It's identical, but the mufflers are packed in the traditional way for sound reduction. Still a straight through design.

I'll add that on my to-do list for videos to share with ya'll once my intercooler leak is addressed.

The camera used for the above is several hundred where this one is less than a hundred.

ALL exhaust manufacturers should use something like this to record, it only makes sense since EVERYONE cares the most about exhaust note...

Will you be able to tell the difference in your NSX after it's been STMPOized? Only if you are breathing when you return from your test ride!

Medical Warning: People with high blood pressure and heart conditions should use STMPO parts with extreme caution. STMPOized NSXs have been know to result in extreme SEGs. If your SEG persists for more than 4 hours consult a doctor immediately. Severely dilated pupils may result from the adrenaline rush on your first drive of a STMPOized NSX. These medical side effects are not ephemeral and will last for years.

No white coating this time? Seeing my white exhaust get dirty would upset me a bit... and I'm tired of black... so I'm ceramic coating mine red this week.

Would love to hear this in real life someday. Forget the F1 exhaust threads - we need a new thread on bada$$ exhausts. I can only think of a few that would qualify off the top of my head (STMPO being one).

Up against UK's fastest FWD N/A car 11.3 sec best run. You can't hear the Messiah exhaust over the Civic, which is a K24 with a K20 type R head. With other supported mods.

it's amazing that the 2 second between your car and the civic doesn't seem that much in distance.

I don't think that was his best run but wasn't mine either.

But yeah exactly 2 seconds between our best runs.

You'll like this part, the car is built and owned by a American guy, he is works in the forces but based on a us base here in the UK, the first event he ran it he broke the UK record, he was saying that allot of the cars back home run that sort of time on similar setup, goes to show that we have some catching up to do
