Nice. Which top carbon air cover is that? Who's the make and where did you get it from?

It is the top and bottom Comptech air box. You just need the top since you can't even see the bottom!!

What is the big metal triangular tube thing sitting on top of the engine called?

Targa brace. It was added to provide some additional support when the top panel came off. The one the photo you quoted is an aftermarket version, but serves the same purpose.

What brace is this toddat ? it looks awesome!

It was custom made by the people who installed the supercharger.

The red intake manifold cover is OEM NA2 NSX-R cover. Part # 17111-PBY-R01

Thanks!

So it looks like the NSX-R cover has the VTECH DOHC lettering while the other one doesn't. Is there a part# for one without the lettering? I'm starting to think it must've been custom painted.

Thanks!

Yes. You can see the difference at the colour. R cover is red, the custom painted is more orange. That happens if you take a standard (black) NSX cover and paint it.
As far as I know there is no colour at the market, who matches the original to 100%.

Its quite difficult to get a new R cover, I have waited over 6 months for the last one.

Patina .we could make it together...............

Taken at a car show in Bemidji, MN...I know who it is but I'll let shame do the job.View attachment 162345

The owner is at the leading edge of modern maintenance theory. Cleanliness is not next to Godliness as obsessive cleaning of the engine leads to moisture accumulation under the coils covers, misfires and eventual replacement of the coils and problems with electrical connections. Not my car; but, I embrace the intent / excuse:smile:.
