mine dd was originally a miata because my 2005 TL became a VIP car that was modded and slam. Then i sold the miata and got a s2000 to be my daily. During that transition the tl was converted back to stock and just sat in the garage. I now just got the nsx and the TL had became full on daily duty.

2005 CLK320 Avantgarde Merc. Purchased for next to nothing as it didn't start. $120 later and about 6 hours of painful labour I had replaced the crank angle sensor and away she goes.

I switch off between an 06 is250 and a 2012 Elentra....

Just got the Lexus back today after her heart transplant... Blew the engine on the way to Vegas a few weeks ago:frown: long story short, radiator cracked in 110 degree heat and by time I noticed the check engine light it was too late...fried it.

Found an awesome place for complete engines and everything else you might ever need called LKQ online and got a 2011 engine with 50k miles on it for $1775 shipped with warrantee... Total cost for the engine swap including labor was only about $4200 including engine, radiator, hoses, etc...from local Lexus specialist ...Picked her up today and she purrs like a kitten and feels stronger then ever...gotta love mass produced vehicles sometimes:smile:

08 m3, as my signature says. it's kind of a stupid dd,getting about 12 mpg and with $200+ oil changes (9 liters of ~$15 "special m oil"), but it sure is fun. it's a 414 hp,8400 rpm v-8.

My beater: 1997 Toyota Avalon. Can't break it, so I'm kind of stuck with it. Can't bring myself to ditch it when it is serving my needs so well as an in-town driver.

2003 GPW S2000 alternating every other week with the NSX. And either of the 2 bikes in my sig on occasion, but I'm doing that less and less after surviving 6 years of daily motorcycle commuting.

Yes, i used to commute with my bike as well. But now I never do it. Maybe im older now, but its just so risky (nuts drivers) and i honestly dont save that much time (donning helmet, gloves, pack, etc). Just glad i survived all those years of commuting with my bike. =)

I had a 2005 A4 1.8T till about Feb this year. Switched to a 2011 X5 3.5d after ALMOST buying a 2011 S4. (wife can't drive std and I refuse to buy an automatic sports car lol)
