This. SO many times. Hilarious. and sad :'(. Only girls who give a crap about the car are already in some other guys car. Normal girls on the street think its just a damn corvette.
whenever you pass a building you stare at the windows just to see the reflection of your NSX...

When my car was a plain road car I would dd it all summer long. As soon as I got the track bug, and every mod was to improve the car for the circuit, it became less and less fun to drive to work. Eventually I had to buy a second summer car for my orig summer car.
Your drive at the speed of the traffic around you with some even pulling away and get pulled over by a stealth cop car (Mustang GT500) for doing 74 in a 65 and he says "I zapped you from behind until you went over 70 so I had to pull you over". I was stalked. But I'm not bitter or anything...
when 20 somethings tell you they've never actually SEEN an NXS, but they drive one in their favorite video game!!!
when people ask you from the sidewalk to pull over for a picture while sitting at the light!!!
when people at the gas station don't even wait for you to get out of the car to ask about it!!! they just tap on the window!!
when going ANYWHERE becomes "an event"
when you realize that you are too smart to own a Ferrari!!!

to which you reply "that's why I can get insurance on it... and you can't.....

When you get a seven day impound for excessive speeding and the cops give you an escort to the impound lot after agreeing with the tow truck driver the car is too low and too nice to try to get onto the flatdeck. And a little pleading on my part. True story ... 3 months ago.

+1 I was stalked and pulled over on the freeway in 5:00pm rush hour traffic going 55mph with the flow. Turns out the CHP mis-read my plate and it came back as a Buick, which got him all excited that it was a stolen vehicle! After all was sorted out he didn't even offer an apology only saying that he was a little disappointed I didn't make a run for it...???
