What would have made the new NSX sell better?

Looks, looks, looks. It's just not good looking, and bears no resemblance to the original. Look at that nose, all those lines that don't match, the horrid corporate beak, the generic rear, the overall "committee" flavor of the design. That's really the whole of it.

    1998 NSX-T Black/Black, 56K miles, NH/Boston JH4NA2161WT000001

** Deposit received, sale pending ** The time has come to sell the best car I have ever owned. I have had this car 7 years, a record for me, but I rarely drive it anymore and it's time for a new owner. NUMBER OF OWNERS: 2 Car was sold new by Greenwich Acura in CT, and the original owner traded...

EPS light, power steering "non-standard failure"

Hi all - '98 NSX, I have an EPS light glowing, and no power steering. A problem code check yields the EPS light blinking 3 times, roughly 1/2 second each. then a pause, then 3 more blinks, etc etc. When I start the car, all lights are on briefly, then they all go out except EPS, which...

    1998 NSX-T Blk/Blk, 50K mi 6-spd NH/Boston JH4NA2161WT000001

I'm taking this car off the market - could the mods please delete? I just don't have time for this. Why do people by the thousands feel the need to ask 10 questions, all of which I answer positively, and then make a crazy lowball offer, or just disappear? Or say they're coming up to see it...

    New NSX

    But from 1991 to the present, Porsche went 964 -> 993 -> 996 -> 997. 4 cars. Ferrari went 348 -> 355 -> 360 -> 430. 4 cars. Corvette went C4 -> C5 -> C6, w/ thundering Z06 variants. How many NSXs would be selling today if they were on their 4th version of it? I think more than 1000, by now...

    New NSX

I agree w/ this, what do we do now? Personally I like the new Lotus Exige, and there hopefully is a new Esprit in the works. Lotus needs all the customers they can get, what if we all jumped ship & visted our friendly local Lotus store? OK, quality might not quite be up to the level we're...

The new NSX at the Detroit Show...

In the hopes that someone at Honda is reading this thread and taking an unofficial poll, I will weigh in w/ a big thumbs down. I hope this is just another concept and not an NSX replacement. The spirit of the NSX is "Senna's F1 car for the road". This is just another fat, bloated boulevard...

    Ferrari Dino - Exclusive pictures

And the guys on F-Chat found the actual pics to expose the fraud. Man, they are good though, these things are getting harder and harder to detect.

    Ferrari Dino - Exclusive pictures

That is not real. The interior is the F430, the front end has lots of parts chopped in from the new 599, etc. Someone did alot of work w/ P-shop but its still a fake. The base car is almost certainly a P cayman. Remember the NEW NSX that was just a re-skinned Cadillac Cien? Like that.

Check Engine Light - does this sound right?

Final chapter (I hope): the light went back out for no apparent reason, and here's hoping it doesn't come back. What an odd thing that was..... You might try reminding the dealership this is a know recall issue and it should be covered free of charge. Really? Well too late now, but if...

Check Engine Light - does this sound right?

OK, I spoke too soon, the light came right back on AGAIN. The next step according to the dealer is the "smoke test", where they pump smoke all thru the fuel system and try to find a leak. This is becoming positively Ferrari-like (and not in the good way!)

Check Engine Light - does this sound right?

Thought I'd bump this one w/ the result. Was told up front it would take "a full day" to check all the solenoids. But the Acura tech suspected it might just be a bad gas cap. Bingo! Slight leak around the seal of the cap. New cap, no more light, and the car is good as new. So anyone whose...

Check Engine Light - does this sound right?

Brian, thanks for the input. I've had this car 3 years and not a single thing has ever gone wrong w/ it. First thing I did was check the gas cap, filled it up, re-tightened the cap. The dealer had checked the cap as well. So, I guess I'm just hoping theres some option besides "a full days...

Check Engine Light - does this sound right?

OK - called the dealer, they pulled codes 1456 and 1457. Advice appreciated.
