    Windshield replaced. Need help!!

Hi Guys!! :) Thanks for the help. I did a yahoo search for 'NSX windshield molding installation instructions' and wouldn't you know it - I found exactly what I was looking for HERE at NSXPRIME!! Click on THIS to see what I mean. I emailed the glass shop and gave them the above link. They...

Top Windshield Molding Installation Instructions Needed

Hi Guys!! :) I'm desperate. I need instructions as to HOW one correctly installs the molding that goes between the windshield and the roof. As some of you may have already read [in another one of my messages] I just had the windshield replaced on my 1991 NSX. I upper molding wasn't installed...

    NSX vs 300C

Hi NsxToBe!! :) The 300C only comes with an automatic. We were both going about 60 km/h when the race started. I'm not sure - at that speed - how far down the 300C's transmission would go. Maybe into 1st gear - but maybe only down to 2nd. I didn't catch him by surprise. He started accelerating...

    NSX vs 300C

I appreciate what you're saying - but there is nothing wrong with my eyesight. So unless someone has invented an invisible car - one that I could NOT see - than where I raced WAS quite safe. Craig

    Acura RL needs Help

Hi Guys!! :) As it is - I for one would feel like a moroon if I payed $70,000 CDN for an RL. That's just WAY too much money. No matter how you look at it - there just isn't $28,000 worth of extras in the RL over a base TL. But how much would I pay? And what features would I be willing to give...

    NSX vs 300C

Hi nsxsupra!! :) You might be right. I don't really know. I just assumed that with all that torque [even with the regular 300C - like the one I raced] it would leap forward and at least be ahead of me [in my NSX] for a second or two. As for the SRT-8 - I don't think I'd EVER be ahead of 'him'...

    NSX vs 300C

Neither can I. But in MY little race - public safely was NOT an issue. If it was - I would NOT have raced the 300C. There is a difference between sharing a point of view and peppering a point of view with sarcasm. In the future - if you choose to share with others what YOU think - try...

    Windshield replaced. Need help!!

I NEED HELP!! That said.. Thanks again - D'Ecosse. I phoned the windshield shop yesterday and they DO have the right parts - including the fastener. [and they DID put the right parts on my car] I was quite disappointed. [having had the numbers YOU gave me in hand] Now what I REALLY need are...

    NSX gets no respect!!!!

Hi Guys!! :) Like most of you [all of you but one?] my NSX has only received compliments. The only time I don't TAKE what someone might say as a compliment is when they ask me, "Is that a Corvette?" LOL But I know they didn't mean it in a bad way. Even after all these years [I've owned my...

    Windshield replaced. Need help!!

Thanks D'Ecosse!! :) I really appreciate that. I'm curious though. Did you come across TWO different part numbers for the molding? Is there anything to the 'story' I'm being told about Acura updating the part?! Thanks again, Craig!! :)

    NSX vs 300C

The 300C is a very FAST car. The NSX takes 5.4 seconds to reach 60 MPH. Based on most road tests - the 300C is either .1 second quicker or .4 seconds slower. So yes - I'm proud. But not of myself - of my CAR. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

    NSX vs 300C

Hi Guys!! :) It was a beautiful Sunny Sunday afternoon. I was driving my NSX with its brand new windshield [but wrong window molding!! Grr...] back from Sooke. [a small town west of Victoria, B.C.] In front of me was a silver Chrysler 300C. For most of the trip - it was a single lane, winding...

    Windshield replaced. Need help!!

Hi Guys!! :) I appreciate the help. Been rather busy - so I've kinda put things on hold. Here is an update. I went back to get the 'new' molding put on - but it was exactly the same as the one that's on the car. So I didn't bother. I asked them to FIND the RIGHT molding. It's been over 10...

    Windshield replaced. Need help!!

Hi Guys!! :) I just had the windshield replaced on my '91 NSX. The glass is fine. It's the trim between the glass and the roof that concerns me. I picked up my car today and went for a drive. I could hear quite of a bit of wind noise - no whistling - just wind as a got up to freeway speeds...

NSX Succesor to be announced tonight? 7/11/05?

Hi Guys!! :) Long time no see. So those rumours of the death of the NSX turned out to be true after all. The 2005 NSX is the end of the line. It's actually kinda sad. It's unfortunate that snobbery [for the most part] kept so many people from buying one. They truly only cheated themselves...

Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 vs Potenza RE750

Hi ncdogdoc!! :) Thanks. Compared to the stock Yokohama's [which I assume you had] what differences did you notice when you put on the RE750's? Does your NSX handle as well? Is it quieter? Does it still FEEL like an NSX?! [that sort of thing] Are there any negatives? Hi apapada!! :) Thanks...

    Making shiny leather dull again

Hi Guys!! :) My '91 just had it's 140,000 km service. New rear brake pads were installed along with a new air filter. The car drives like a dream!! While it was 'in' - I decided to have it 'detailed'. Never done that before - but there was a 'special' - so I went for it. Car looks great. They...

Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 vs Potenza RE750

Hi Guys!! :) I really need some help. I have to replace the rear tires on my '91 stock NSX. Since OEM tires are becoming increasing rare [none to be found in Canada - says Yokohama] I'd like to switch to a NEW brand of tire. I've narrowed my choices down to two. Yokohama recommended Yokohamas...

    Speed !!...0-60 ?? ...top Speed ??

If you ever do race someone [on a nice dry street] be sure to disengage the traction control system. [TCS] The NSX is considerably quicker with the TCS turned off. [at least mine is] But I'm not alone in thinking that. According to AutoWeek magazine [February 4, 1991] in a three way comparison...

    Silly but fun

Hi Boris_DBD!! :) The road I like best is that winding one on the way to East Sooke. Not sure what it's called - but you have to go to [or through?] Metchosin [sp?] to get to it. You pass a marina on the way and the road to that military base. I eventually turn 'right' [somewhere near some...

    Silly but fun

Hi nsxbuilder!! :) The 'disclamers' - at least for me - are motivated by guilt. As I wrote that message - I could 'feel' my mom standing behind me with her arms folded and making that tsk tsk tsk sound!! lol CanadaCraig!! :)

    Silly but fun

Hi Boris_DBD!! :) My NSX is red - but I've seen the silver one your talking about. [if it's the one with huge chrome wheels and some stickers that make the tailights look round] I've also seen a black one and another red one. Sometime last year a white one came available at the Acura...

    Silly but fun

Hi Guys!! :) Ok... I have to say this. Racing on public streets is silly silly silly silly. Now...... A couple of 'chics' in a new Mercedes-Benz SL challanged me to a race. I was in my '91 NSX. Very rarely [in the nearly 9 years I've owned my car] have I had the opportunity to go against...
