sorry I should clarify. Notice how new cars in the showrooms and at car shows show smudges from fingerprints so easily. Compare this to a car that has just been waxed and it still does not show smudge so easily. Why is this?

I've always noticed that they are more easily smudged w/ fingerprints then say a car that was just polished and waxed. Is it because they use a finish spray or is it just because the finish is brand new? I've never used a finish spray. :redface:

When I first got my 92 in 96, it had the same problem. I took it in and they replaced the themostat if I remember correctly - it's been a while. It has been fine ever since. I too was worried about slamming into a fender or wearing out brake pads often. Should be at 750 RPM...:cool:

Hi Guys. What is the best way to remove residual wax in the fine seams? I dare not use a toothbrush (too hard) and rag and MF towel edges can;t seam to get in the tiny crevices. Thanks all in advance for your imput... Greg:confused:

I took my 92 to two reputable shops and they both quoted me $1000 for upper and lower front end. This was for removal, repaint and reattach. :eek: I couldn't get myself to pull the trigger and just got the WW spoiler painted...

A wrinkle on this scam. I received a "service@paypal" e-mail (very authentic looking paypal page) saying my payment of $350 to a bogus paypal account was being made for the purchase of a Ipod. Of course the next link is a login page but I found it suspicious when the e-mail address at the top...

Hey Guys I need to have my West wings front spoiler refinished due to normal wear and tear and a plethora of rock chips. I know should ask for a flexing agent added to the paint but i there anything that will add endurance to decrease all the rock chips? A 3m shield? TIA, Greg
