Front and rear wheels (one each) in blade silver - $100, Va.

These came off a 97. They are straight and true but the front one has two deep scratches in it as shown. The rear has some scuffing and curb rash. 17" rear, 16" front. If you want show quality, they would have to be refinished but great for everyday or track use. $100 for both, if you want...

Stock muffler, great for custom exhaust - $75 in Va.

I bought this to have the correct piping to install a flowmaster dual flow exhaust which sounded the most like a V8 to me. It would allow you to keep your stock muffler intact, let the muffler shop insert the flowmaster into this piping in a jig and it will look stock from the outside until you...

    Finally an owner...

Congrats, I guess :( With any luck, I'll be posting my new yellow w/automatic up this week (yes, slush box but I have no medical choice). Steve was as excited as a kid at Christmas, picked the car up on an absolutely beautiful fall day and then had perfect weather to go from Va. to Tenn. and...

Rare nsx with a pre-4k rpm issue

How did you insure there is no more of thank "gunk" in the tank? Be a shame to burn out another fuel pump because the tank is not clean. It's an ongoing problem if the gas has been in there a long time. Even draining it may not capture all the crap.

    1997 NSX-T Red/Black, low miles, stock, JH4NA2166VT000137

Unfortunately, after two scopes of my left knee, I've now been told it needs a complete replacement, making a manual transmission close to impossible. Fortunately, I have found an automatic version that is almost as nice as what I have and will be purchasing it if I sell this one. Full PPI was...

Most well known NSX collector in the US?

It had a price in the ebay ad and looks like the seller thinks they are going to get back the $10K in wheels and $25K in stereo. The fiberglass additions behind the seats to hold the radar detector and the keyboard look like crap. If he truly has restored and sold a number of cars, I think he...

Has the market bottomed out on NSXs? (Buy now, or in 6 months to a year?)

I don't think anything is going to go up any time soon, too many unknowns in the economy, politics and the job front. The NSX is in its forgotten period. Supercar technology has advanced tremendously but the cars are becoming very generic looking. Ten years from now, there will probably be...

    updating your own carfax??

Actually, Carfax may contain detailed service history depending upon if the dealer is participating in that part of the Carfax service. My 97 has every service in the Carfax report since the second owner purchased it. None from the first even though both Acura dealers but one participates and...

    Ended up getting a 2003 Corvette Z06!

In about a year, you will have figured out the difference between the NSX and Corvette. My C6 was the worse car from a reliability standpoint I've ever owned, so bad that GM bought it back under the lemon law. When it ran, it was a great car but that was so infrequent I gave up. I know...

Has the market bottomed out on NSXs? (Buy now, or in 6 months to a year?)

Although I've no desire to own one, I do follow S2K prices for some odd reason. They have seen depressed to me, even before the most recent economic upheaval. Any sportscar is impractical and therefore has a limited market. Unlike the NSX, they made plenty of the Honda's and so supply has...

    OBDII Code Scanner: Recommendations?

I've got the Scangauge II in another car and it is like having a entirely new set of gauges. Depending upon the data output from the OBD-II, it will give you fuel mileage figures, actual engine temps, transmission temps (auto only), actual rpm readings (you'd be surprised how far off factory...

How does an average guy like me....

Have you read the report from the former GAO head, Walker? It's pretty clear where we will be a couple of decades from now, in much deeper $hit than we ever dreamed possible. If you're under 35 right now, better start looking for ways to change the current government and get some fiscally...
