Another bodykit....

The white NSX is gross, but the red is simply unreal. Looks like the Scorcery front end? I wouldn't change a thing. Clean, tasteful, classy, and have that JDM flair to it. Job well done:wink:

Unique, different, unusual, individualistic, but Gross? Sure is a nice way to talk about someone's car. What would you consider deep rims with stretched rubber-band tires? VIP Style is HOT!

I wouldn't say the white NSX is gross, but it could use some work. The lines just don't flow right. Very busy on the sides, but the fenders/front clip has no lines that flow with the rest of the car.

I just went back and took another look. I guess I just don't like how the front clip looks, specially the exposed popup lights. Those mirrors I don't like either. Everything else is not that bad. That center scoop, if it actually works like I think it does, is pretty cool. If its just cosmetic, its gotta go too.

I guess having a one word response seem like a harsh uneducated response to certain people.

I would like to apologize if I did sound harsh and quick to judge but here's my point on the matter. And hopefully, it'll clear up why I said what I said.

First of all, I do have an NSX and I bought it 'cause I like the way it looks. I like the approach the Japanese took in designing their own so-called "supercar." It changed a lot of perception on how a sports car is supposed to be built. I'm not the kind person that would look at a car and think of it as an unfinished art. The designers made the front look the way it is, and I would keep it the way it is. Unless of course, you're going to track your car. There are certain things that aid in handling and also inadvertently makes the car look better. The "tuner" market originated from these and that's what we're seeing in a lot of these car shows. Unfortunately, it less function and more form. Or in reality, more of a style. Some people like these over the top style, I personally do not.

Back to the point... I feel like the white NSX has lost its identity. The front reminds me of the old Noble, the side mirrors are definitely from a Ferrari Challenger car, there are hints of Lotus, and I couldn't even pin-point the rear anymore. I can see a lot of non-functional parts. Of which I'm not a big fan off.

Anyways, I don't like long posts so I'll keep it at that. I commend the owner for the time and money invested but I'm not sure that the finished product is right for me.

Hey, no harm done.

Why it probably seems as silly as painting your car in Camouflage.

wasnt really any striking nsx at the show..but the white did catch yur attention weather it was positive or negative.....i do what i want with my car and to each its own..the vip cars really stood out at this show

I think this kit is available for sale in Japan, I believe it is listed in the Hyper Rev Magazine, NSX first edition.

Thanks NSXRich.

Yeah, that is the original BSM body kit for the NSX in red made for the company's president in Japan. It was shown at the 2000 Tokyo auto salon and was never made for production. I heard a few people saw pics of it in Hyperrev #32, but to have the kit made for them, they had to send their car to Japan. The real problem was that BSM didn't even have all the molds for all the body panels. As you can see, we had to refab a new front end and head light set up due to the missing pieces. I must say that DTM autobody had a huge challenge in putting this project together. But for the most part, with some minor tweeking, I'm really happy with their work. The kit was brought in by of course my awesome sponsors at Endless USA though their Japanese connections to help showcase the AME wheel line. Comptech (CT Engineering) sponsored me for the Super Charger and high boost kit with their new 2007 SC. Look out for their new products and new exhaust on the car at HIN San Mateo!

Thanks everyone. Love it or hate it, it's the passion that matters.
