If you are going with JL, then the easiest solution for a grill is the JL grill which fits the woofer. You'd also probably lose 1/2" or so from the grill.

Looking for some help with getting my super slim enclosure installed in my 1991. Tried reaching Angus for the last few months but didn’t get a response. It’s a 1991 so no eps box in place. I left the sub bracket in place as it does not seem to stand properly without it. Seems to take up even more space than stock. If anybody can give me tips would be much appreciated. I never got a bracket to secure the sub too, makes me wonder if I got the regular depth version?
