Does this have anything to do with the color Imola?

The original Imola Orange Pearl debuted on the Japanese market NSX in 1997, three years after Senna's death at that circuit. It seems like with the Senna-Honda and Senna-NSX connection, it would be too much of a coincidence to ignore!

New Imola Orange Pearl, the brighter version seen on the '02+ USDM cars, is actually a different shade but the connection is obviously still there.

It's a nice thought, but there are a lot of colors named after famous races/race tracks. Spa, Silverstone, Sebring, Monaco/Monte Carlo, Long Beach, etc
