Okay, I just shared it publicly. Try it now.

Still private.
For some odd reason, my iPad does not let me edit the video I took with my android phone. So I had to make it public from my phone. Have at it, it should work now.

Your telling me!!! Here is the corrected cabin view after tightening the belt. Now that I figured out how to post vids I will have plenty more to follow of my ctsc because there are like none on YouTube! Wtf

When mine chirped i was told that the source was most likely the bushing(s) at the base of the snout. Your best bet IMO is to call Jon Bond, Probably one of the best qualified poeple to get good answers from.

Thanks for the info. But I have corrected the issue. The belt it seems got slightly loose over the first month of ownership. Why it sounded like a cricket I do not know. I tightened the belt and the cricket moved on...

Glad to hear you got it fixed!

It still chirps some when cold and warming up. But it gone by the time I exit my neighborhood. Shad says its normal so it doesn't bother me much anymore.

Awesome. Thanks for the help man.

I wanted to bump this thread guys for future ctsc owners. The crickets still live in the engine bay and they have gotten far worse. Car still makes boost, drives great, etc. Just for some reason, unless the engine is hot as a pistol, it chirps and squeaks. The car is now back in Shad's hands. It took me a little bit to get the car back in his hands cause he is always so busy, but I am quite okay with that. I will post here soon the cause, the symptom, and the cure.l

Update;
Got the car back today and no more crickets. Shad checked all the bearings and they were solid. He changed out the normal ribbed belt with a smaller gator back belt and voila! Smooth and quiet now. Good thing my speed sensor failed when he test drove it this morning. When I arrived he was already installing a new unit. Even how terribly hard it is to reach him and how long we wait, I am still a very pleased customer. He is a honest mechanic.
