Is there a reference guide to the main ECU?

(I have searched through the FAQ/Wiki and have searched for the terms - PCM, ECU without much luck)

This on the cover of the ECU:

Lot 39900-SL0-013

MT
TCM-001

Would anyone be able to shed some light or a link that I missed?

Originally thought this was a spare ECU provided when purchasing a 1991 NSX (race car) but it's not the same orientation - I am thinking this is an OBD2?
