Ive been lurking for years even though Ive met a few of you in person. Most may not remember me but my tag is Richee on S2KI. I took my girlfriend, now fiance, on an NSX drive a few years back. I had a supercharged Sebring Silver w/ Mugen hardtop. The drive took us through Maltby and ended up on I-90. Maybe I can post up pics later to refresh a few memories. It was back when Dan had the basic NSX-R look, before the GT look. Ive since been thru a few STi's and another supercharged black S2000. ANYWAY, just wanted to say hello. The fiance gave the green light to get yet another vehicle and I started with economy. I was tired of getting used cars Id have to work on or fix up, etc., so I thought Id go for brand new. I test drove the CR-Z and liked it overall but the size was a bit of a deterrent. Pretty high tech in its own right. Then looked at the 2012 Impreza but only able to test drive the auto (CVT) and it was just WEAK. I understood its mission - fuel economy, so I couldnt complain.
SO...as it turns out, I do care about fuel economy but I care more about fun factor and I thought about going back to my black S2000 cuz I sold it to a friend. That got me to thinking, either move up or move out (with Hondas) and THAT led my search to to elusive NSX!! I get a phatty (please dont flame me for saying that) raise end of this month and Ive been actively looking for the past few weeks for cars and almost bought but my wedding is in August so Im thinking maybe get another beater til after the wedding then its ON! I have a mint QX4 for my second car but horrible on gas but it'll do.
Sorry to be so long-winded, just wanted to say hi and re-introduce myself. Myabe you guys can help me with the search when I really get down to the nitty gritty! :biggrin:
