Imola Orange Pearl/Orange Cars

I saw an imola driving south on the turnpike in Hollywood Florida .. Anyone on here? I was on the side of the road with my berlina because my diffuser had some issues lol

So it was you I saw on the side of the road. Sorry I was going too fast to stop . But it looked like you were in good hands. My son and I were headed to Marathon for the week. I met up with dquarasr2 in Boca on the way back. Were you able to get it fixed?

Awesome. Looks safe and sound in the parking garage. Thanks for the pics. Enjoy!!!!!

Hi Guys,

I went through this thread and have updated this roster of the NA2 Imola cars. I only updated and added what I could truly verify and linked any known VIN specific thread to the VIN of the vehicle in the roster.

-Ira

Previous info from JetPilot3:
This is a roster of the total 41 Imola Orange Pearl/Orange 2002 - 2005 cars made. I have created two distinct threads for the total 49 Imola Orange Pearl cars made:

Imola Orange Pearl/Onyx thread
http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107885

Imola Orange Pearl/Orange thread - this thread.

Both with the intention of tracking down Mileage, Year, VIN, and location at the present time. If you Imola Orange owners wish to submit this information then by all means do so as it will help the NSX community track each one. If you don't want to add the information then that's okay too. Nothing personal is being recorded - just the cars information. If you know of wrecked serials as well please do let this thread know.

So to recap here are the production numbers for the Imola Orange Pearl/Orange cars for the U.S. market (Please add your info as shown below and I've already added some from what I know):

Jeff this is an Imola/Orange thread not the Imola/Onyx.. just noting it so Ira doesnt confuse the list.

Hey, we're all Orange here. I believe the list should be combined. The better to keep track of these rare and your rarer beauties.

Thanks, no worries. I didn't realize the list was unique to O/O. I think the list I saw elsewhere on NSX Prime was tracking both. Don't forget to support the department of redundancy department. Oh! Love all dem imolas when da sun shines!

Jeff

I just saw this! I'll work on the imola/onyx list this weekend... It's MUCH shorter ;)

I will be selling my 2002 Imola/Orange NSX soon.

Hello,

I love the car but cannot and will not drive it in the snow, and we need something more practical, so I'm prepping it to sell this month. It has 67k miles on it and is in great condition.

Any advice on the best way to sell it would be appreciated. Does anyone know what kind of price adder the color adds due to it's rarity?

Cheers,
-r

I see you driving around every so often. Last week actually (WB Harmony, turned right around Lemay or Boardwalk).

Anyway, listing here on Prime (see "NSXs for sale" section) is one of the better routes, but you can also list locally or such. No clue what the color ads, but years as a commuter will probably offset. Love the color so a little tempted to make the jump...but am probably too frugal for that.

If that car is in great shape and all of the maintenance is up to date, it won't take long before the "Imola Police" (Shawn) take that off your hands soon after you post it. I negotiated the deal on mine just hours after the previous owner posted it on Prime. You will regret selling it though. Maybe someone here in San Antonio will buy it so we'll have four.

Just think. For 2 years I was the only one in SA. I moved and there is this big influx of Imolas. Now my closest is Synth's and no matter what I've done or will do, mine will never shine.
