can anyone chime in on their experience with the BBK? I'm REALLY interested, especially at that price. Primary concern for me though is getting replacement parts like rotors and pads in the future.

I just want to vouch for the K-Sport coilovers... i've had them on my current car for 2 years and loved them... I was one of the first in the country to use them and i've had no regrets. I've turned a lot of local people onto the brand after riding in my car.

Why pay more if (1) You cant tell a handling difference and (2) Nobody can see them under your car anyway to say (OMG YOU DONT HAVE JICS OR TEINS!).

Everyone has been very impressed with the build quality, especially myself.

FWIW, D2 brake info:
http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69547&highlight=purple+brakes

D2 developed this kit with AP Racing, as you can see in my last update (the info on the end of initial post) they share parts.

D2 is based in Japan. K-Sport is the Tawian division of the company. Same product, different packaging and price market.

Still finding out more info...

I ended up not buying it at all based on simply pad selection in the future. I don't think they share pads similiar to any other calipers out there so what if Ksports just up and goes out of business? Now where do I source my pads or rotors, seals, etc (other than high dollar custom stuff)?

I'm gonna stick with brembo or another oem caliper by one of the major world automakers (viper, vette, etc if it can be easily be made to work with our car)

Just stick with Brembo, stoptech, or AP (in that order). Pad selection is plenty, their is a lot of testing and development that went into those kits for the car, and you'll be much happier with the feel, performnance, and reliability.

May be 30-50% more expensive up front, but the lack of headaches, problems, failures (maybe), will be far greater than the 30-50% higher cost.

$0.02

AP racing or Ferodo pads are in stock and will fit the Ksport 8 piston and 6 piston big brake kits...... maybe this will be of interest. We have the 8 piston kit on our 1300+ whp Mk4 Supra and they hold up pretty well to abuse. In comparison to our wide body NSX which is currently fitted with AP big brakes and our wide body time attack Evo which has a Stop tech big brake kit on it, seems atleast to us, that the Ksport kit is a real value. Our Supra does however have the 14 inch rotor upgrade with the optionl race pads.

Thanks for reading. Check with us for specials or group buy's if you folks want to see for yourselves!!!! We are one of the largest Ksport authorized distributors in the world! Please call and ask for Andrew or Cody.
