The owner wanted to do a NSX "T" coversion ---- NSX Truck.

well guys

I have been out in the garage working on the NSX again. I will say stripping the paint around the doors is a long and no fun process. I look back now and think it might be work paying someone to do this area. LOL

All my friends keep asking me when will the car be done? I tell them it will be done when it is done and you can not rush things like this. The effort put in is equal to the quality when it is done. I am sure of it.

Here are a couple new pics of the car.

that's one shiny pickup truck

Hey Guys

Time for an update. Well I am so freaking tired of stripping paint. I think if I ever decide to do this again some one stop me. Well I have gotten almost all of the original parts stripped and primed. I have the passenger door rim and inner door rim left to do. ***Problem*** Passenger door has had alot of damage. I think I would like to find another door to replace it. I have put out email to a couple of people to see if they might have a used one. But if any one knows of one Please let me know. Thanks for any one that can help save a work of art.

I have also started taking out the front headlights. Yep you guessed it. 02 headlights will be going in their place. Then work on the new side skirts, new rear valence and front bumper and hood will start.

I should be posting more pics up soon as I can figure out about the door sitituation.

PS. Another issue. One of the plans was a Targa Top for the car. I know guys. why do that. Trust me. If this was a undamage car I would not do that. This is a wreck car with high miles. I am just going to make it my way. (Engine is aready a future project). I have been working with Joe Toth. I bought a conversion from him. The A pillar peice got lost in the mail in Aug. Joe still has not got me the rest of the parts for the conversion and now he will not answer my emails or phone calls. Trying to figure out how to handle the situtation. So top will be put off until next winter or if I do it at all

Hey Guys

well have a long time of working on the car and a lot of other personal things going on with starting my own new business. The car is now at the body shop. It has been a little over a 2 year project to strip and put the new body kit on the car. Here are some sample pics of the car in the paint both. More to come over the new week when the rest of the paint should be done on the car.

Hey Guys.

Here a picture of the black hood with a blue peral on it. The roof, trim, and hood of the car are painted like this. We should have the outside color finalized by the weekend. The car is being planned to be painted for the weekend. Hope you like it.

Gorgeous color. Look forward to seeing it all put together.

Think you'd bring it to any of the Tulsa events?

Hey every one. I thought I would give a new update. here is how the car sat last night. The painter thought he would have it finished by the end of the weekend. I will say if you guys are around the arkansas area this guy really cares about the work he does and is doing the job at a reasonable price. Much less then what the job would usually cost. The car is a blue with 3 coats of blue pearl and 3 coats of clear. All of the black and carbon fiber parts are getting 3 coats of blue pearl and 3 coats of clear.

Hey guys

Well the car just got home from the paint shop last night. I still have a couple of weeks ahead to put it all back together. But I am so pleased with the way it looks and the color. So I thought I would let you see.

Looks good although, IMO, you should of painted the lower portion of the side mirrors BLACK!! It just looks funny when the top is black and the bottom of it is another color. Also I not a big fan of the way you painted your headlights but it's still looks good man.

Is the trunk lid sticking up above the fender where it meets the rear glass? It looks like it is in the picture above. Just wondering...

I do have the bottom of the mirrors in carbon fiber. i was trying to do it so as you look at the whole car you see a like of the top being black color and the bottom being blue. I can always change them if i want

yes since I dont have the rear piece behind the window and the rub around the trunk in yet. I still have some adjusting to do. This was just the painter putting the parts back on. There is not seals in or nothing right now. even the taillights are just in with a couple of bolts. I have a lot of work to finish it up. Just wanted to let you see how it was coming along

Any more updates?? What was the story behind the car when you bought it? Original color, miles, ect.....
