I was second in the auction at $1,101. After the auction I got an email from arten [email protected] telling me the high bidder was willing to sell to me at my bid price, it was called a Second Chance Offer. Since the email didn't come from eBay it sounded like it might be a scam. Anyone have any knowledge of this? I want to support NSXPO but don't want to get burned. I appreciate the help. Gil

nsxpo ebay auction questions

Just curious, has everyone recieved the parts that they won (and paid for) off the ebay auctions for the nsxpo benefit? Im just curious because I won the cantrell ais on sept. 15 and paid for it the same day. I still havent recieved it. The last I heard was that hugh was sending cantrell my contact info and they would ship it directly to me and contact me with a tracking number. Thats been over a week ago and havent heard from anyone. Im not worried, just curious to find out everyone elses experiences with the auctions. Is the actually nsxpo event causing the delay? :biggrin:

I was just about to post a similar question. Last Sunday I bid and won a set of Carbotech Panther Plus. I immediately paid for it with PayPal. After several email messages inquiring for shipping status with the last one asking them if they can just confirm receiving PayPal payment. I still have heard nothing from them. The contact emails are [email protected] and PayPal id [email protected], registered to Kenneth Sax. I am wondering if nsxca and Ken ids have been spoofed?

Never fear, the ids were not spoofed. There might be a little lag time in getting a response because everyone is headed to Florida for NSXPO which begins this weekend.

Danny at Carbotech just got back from Lime Rock and will shipping out the pads on Monday. I emailed Cantrell right after payment was received and gave them the shipping information. I'll follow up with a phone call on Monday.
