I had some fun with sidemarkers Today; confirmed the Honda S2000 and OEM JDM sidemarkers are the same part (Stanley 3842).
I then installed a pair of Honda HR-V sidemarkers, which are longer, and thinner, and necessitate a longer cut-out in the fender:

Scorp is this your car? I'm confused.. what happened to the red NA1?
I parted out my '94 nearly two years ago and sold it; was sick of NSX-related stuff at the time. I bought this car in January.
The part out of my red car was nearly as epic as the build, it looked showroom-quality at the end, with an 8000-mile engine.
The dealership mechanic who did the PPI spoke with me for a solid 15 minutes about how clean it was. We even re-loomed all cut wires, kind of cool.

Wow, so clean! Looks like you just gave it a wash. I can tell from the ground still being kinda wet in the back of the car :smile:
There's enough clues to determine that, if you're an NSX aficionado. :wink:
Also, my fashionable attire. After installing the sidemarkers there was a bit of aluminum dust, which I wanted to hose off of the paint. Of course, once all the gear comes out you need to wash the entire car.
What's slightly frustrating is that I can't apply wax to the paint, since I am preparing to vinyl-wrap the car in a few weeks. Black cars need wax :smile:
+1 on the wax part! I wax the NSX once a month using Quik Spray Wax. Take about 20- 30mins. Wipe on wipe off. Very simple and leave a mirror shine
:biggrin: :wink: :smile:!LOL... Well the calipers tell me this is an 02 conversion. But the bumper looks OEM and not DF. I can't believe you did all that to your car, then sold it all, the.n came back to another NSX.i like the wheels.
but the side skirts look like WW without a door cap.... if it was an 02 i would think that the oem side skirt door cap would be left on?

Great to hear you're back. The Red car was a pretty epic build with great choice of mods, rare parts, etc. It seemed you had 2 of everything. lol
Scorp,This car is the 02 converted one out of Florida that nsx-files was selling isn't it? I was wondering who bought it. A lot of cool parts on that car and a great deal!

I don't believe it is. If I recall Scorp's black car came from a friend he helped do the conversion with
Nsx-files car had gold calipers, 02+ skirts, and the hood had squirters whereas Scorps doesn't. I may be wrong though.
A close friend of mine actually tried to buy NSX-Files car but while he worked a deal a deposit was taken.

can't be nsxfiles car. nsx-files was a 91. scorp's has to be 95+ as its a targa.
i was looking at nsxfiles car as well back in the day. it was a beauty, minus the red leather seat inserts imho. i always wondered how much it went for.

A targa with tiny brakes, seems like that narrows it down significantly. :wink:
It's a '95 which is known to SoCal members; the bumpers are OEM, modified transmission, basic I/H/E mods - the car is largely as-purchased, save for an assortment of detail modifications.
