Random NSX pictures that don't each deserve their own thread

I believe the pop up at the bottom is Ron's car.

Eric, you posting again!? Where have you been?

Hugo, you are correct. The bottom NSX with pop ups is definitely Ron's (Striker525) car. The other NSX (top of picture) appears to be Eric's (Evof575gtc) car. Both are beauties!

You're no longer welcome here Erick unless you have a ton of cash to send to who you owe it to. I know of at least 6 ppl (including me) who you've ripped off.

I Know you've been selling parts on ebay so don't pretend to be a "broke student"..or that you're "too busy" as you've told me and many others. pay us back... you should have done the right thing a long time ago.

So why doesn't anyone give him a bad Vendor Review? I just looked and it was 100%. That seems to me to be the best way to register your displeasure. And it might make others think twice.

I'm not taking sides here. I'm just asking.

He's been suspended as a vendor for over a year and can't sell anything on here... Ask Lud. Anything older than 12 months gets moved off of the itrader system.... There are many threads about his treatments of buyers in the vendors feedback forum:

wow thats simply amazing this guy has stolen thousands of dollars in cash and parts from people and still allowed on this site.

Interesting custom plate for the NSX, Colin. What does it mean?

Hehe I should clarify when I do that. It's just the way I mask my plates for the Internet. Those aren't my actual plates, but photoshopped renditions based off of my govt issued ones haha.

And actually looking at it, VTVTVTV would be an awesome looking plate!

^^^^^ QUESTION OF THE DAY ^^^^^ (semi-off topic, of course)

So what would/could happen if by some slip of "security" your license plate WAS seen out on the internet? Have you ever been to a car show, parked on the street, had anyone take a pic of your car without your knowledge and post it on a board, Facebook, etc.? I've asked many times and never gotten a good answer - why all the cloak and dagger?

I am around govt Vehicles in the vicinity of work and do not ever see a Govt issued plate for a Privately Owned Vehicle (POV)

My attempt at an answer: it's more difficult for someone to track you down when another person posts your plate # online, versus when you do it yourself. When you post your own plate # in a photo, people can simply look at your posting history to gather additional info about you. Why would you not want someone to be able to easily find that information? There are lots of reasons, one that I can think of is that if you're at fault in an accident, you don't want potential plaintiffs to know about your driving history & other assets that you may have posted about online. Yes, the information can be found by someone determined enough, but why make it easier for them for them to tie your vehicle plate # to your username and get that info?

Basically what PHOEN$X said.

But, to be honest, I really do not know if there's any real benefit to masking my plates, it's just an extra precaution. I've gotten 'famous' on the internet for my cars and also now have a company that's getting a good amount of attention on the internet as well. There are probably photos of my cars on the internet without masking, but in the end, you can't be too safe these days.

I've never had a clear answer as to what you can garner off of a plate, but I feel like if someone has the right connections, plates can be matched to addresses. And I don't want to have to shoot anybody in the face with a shotgun if I don't have to.

Isn't the DMV part of the government? I was just referring to my DMV issued plates.
