I’m surprised no one has shared XPO pics on Prime, even though today is the last day. Many of us are sharing in near real time on FB. I was just thinking of docjohn , who doesn’t do FB at all. My pics are nothing special, but here you go.

Ira, Huy, and their support team have put on an excellent XPO in challenging times. Approved…

My arrival at the track hotel

Night before first track session, more cars showed up after this.

Track Day 1: we learned the track by driving on it for our driver’s meeting. ORP is a very challenging and technical track with both blind curves and blind straights, because of elevation changes. I called it, “batshit crazy” and it was.

Acura brought out the TLX Type S and MDX Type S, in addition to the NC1. Acura reps here have been mum about the Type S…guess we’ll hear on 8/12 like everyone else.

Track Day 2….epic, curvy OR-206 was part of the direct route from the track hotel to the track.

View of the track on Day 2. I spun out at Turn 13, where you see the corner worker towerin the center of the screen. I got too aggressive and applied gas where I should not have. Lesson learned.

The silver NSXs, wasn’t planned for them to be together, but it turned out that way. My Kaiser Silver is in the foreground.

Social Day 1: Group drive around Mt. Hood, ending with lunch at the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center in The Dalles. First half of the drive was meh because the PNW drought suddenly ended with rain for the first part of the drive, then sun came back and the remainder of the drive was epic.

Mt. Hood should be right here. 1 star, did not appreciate the mountain hiding away ROFL

Friday night dinner was at the Evergreen Lodge, Aviation and Space Museum’s Evergreen Chapel. Museum was closed but you could see the Spruce Goose inside.

Social Day 2 has been a “down” day for me after all that driving. First time I haven’t started up my NSX in ten days. Enjoyed the Oregon Gardens.

Entry to tech sessions, also home to banquet tonight. Large barn doors open on each side ensures good enough airflow to be safe during our trying times.

Chris Willson doing his tech session on power adders for NA1/2 and NC1. Dave Levy from CRF followed with recommended suspension changes for NA1/2, then Rick Ko with recommendations for stereo upgrades

Lunch! At provided food trucks. I recommend Bo Kwon’s if you are in Portland, large serving sizes and great food.

Thank you Dr.!.....Weird that no one else is posting like the "good O'l: days. Awesome seeing John V. I spy Ken Sax...Is Lud there? Track looked awkward enough to keep you on your toes...

I ate lunch and dinner with Ken yesterday. I haven’t seen Lud. Maybe at dinner tonight? We’ll see. Was worth the nearly 2400 mile drive to the track hotel, then further 100 miles to the social hotel.

Getting up really early local time to get a head start back to Cleveland.

Thank you!

Lud was at the dinner. I didn’t get a chance to speak with him, but he was there by report of others.

We had a wonderful time at NSXPO, thanks so very much to all the people that worked so hard to put it on. Also thanks to Shad and John for helping me with car issues. After 3 days and 2500 miles we made it home tuesday night. Here are some photos, since there are so many it is easier to put them in google photos instead of uploading them all here.

Are the club photographers going to post full rez copies of the group photos so we can download them like has happened for previous NSXPOs?

I asked on the FB NSXPO group as I was also curious about this, and track photos. NSXCA should be sending a private link of all the available pics to attendees later this week, hopefully Thursday.

We didn't take a ton of photos this time out, but for those who didn't find it through other means, my wife Liz (now Secretary-elect for the NSXCA) and I did a daily vlog of our travels to and through the event with semi-daily updates on the way home. One installment yet to upload, but here is the playlist for anyone wanting a Southest-to-Oregon NSX drive experience surrogate. Some highlights include an unintentional cataloging of the scenery change between Tennessee and Oregon by way of Iowa and Nebraska, some random facts about railroads, watching me change an axle in a motel parking lot, NSXPO itself, and an unforeseen 2300 mile detour to the NSX Type S unveiling.

Glad you made it ok! I really enjoy your LOTW video blogs- all Prime members should watch/subscribe!.

I got the link, the photos are great, especially the drone group shots, those are awesome!

R13,

Just finished watching your vlogs from NSXPO, fantastic job, really enjoyed them. I'll be down at Fontana Village next week with the S2KI group if you're interested joining us for any drives or dinners, let me know or just go to s2ki/meets and events/dragon events for details on the drives.

I'll check it out. Some trivia, my first ride in an NSX was at an S2KI track day at Little Talladega sometime circa 2007. I had my MR2 Turbo at the time.

That is Crown Point Vista House at the west end of the Columbia River Gorge scenic area. The view looking east down the river from there is awesome. All the cool waterfalls are in the bluff on the right side. This photo was taken in the circular parking lot around Vista House.
