The PERFECT NSX Dash setup, who's got it?

I like mine....Kenwood Excelon DNX9980HD which has EVERYTHING including voice activated navigation with traffic, bluetooth, back-up camera and I definitely like having the Gentek mirror with auto-dim, Homelink, compass & temp.

I think there are some creative guys in here nice job but my bias opinion is mine the absolute OEM look

That's the universal part, SARD buys the clusters OEM from Stack, and reprograms the input signal ranges to use some of the factory NSX sensors. They also include a conversion box for the tacho signal, and diagrams for wiring, and of course their kit includes the bezel and signal lights for CEL, High Beam, etc. which are necessary for a street-legal car.

The wiring diagrams and instructions are in Japanese, and are wrong for the USDM car, which is interesting since SARD lists two parts (one for "Honda NSX" and one for "Acura NSX"), the connectors on the diagram were reversed, and one of the two was incorrect. For the installation, we had to cross reference every wire splice with the service manual. It took about a day to fully install and configure everything.

RHDJapan is a SARD dealer, and is where I purchased mine.

In returning to the point of this thread, another aspect of my "dash setup" was the navpod-mounted CarPC, which ran a cut-down version of WinXP mobile, and had AEM Pro configured for displaying engine parameters and changing engine maps on the AEM EMS.

yeah its the monitor from an 2005 Acura TL. I did a TL navi conversion
like Lithumas first did.

when you start the car it says ACURA, it fits like a glove. and it uses ALL
of the available space with out a gap from the screen to the edge of the nav pod.

the other screen on the market dont fill the pod they have gaps were the buttons are or power button etc.

but doing this upgrade is a beast. LOL
the wire harness alone took a week to make.
flipping from 2005 TL service manual back to the NSX service manual.
it was fun.

Here's mine. It's made out of fibergalss and I painted it with a textured paint followed by a Duplicolor flat black to look as OEM as it could.

Here's a list of features that it has:

A flip out Kenwood head unit with blue tooth, navigation, touch screen with adjustable tilt, etc.
5 Defi analog gauges.
A 3 position rocker switch for my after market accessories.
A 3 position rocker switch for controlling power to my 3 - 12v outlets.
Two 12 V outlets, covered with black covers.
Defi gauge programmer and playback controller.
One LED for warning of low Methanol or when Methanol is actively spraying.
One LED to warn in the event of a malfunction of the turbo oil pump or the intercooler water pump.
One LED to indicate Alarm status.
Smaller shifter boot cut out.
Larger forward storage tray to fit my iPhone, that is hinged and opens to access:
AEM SerialGauge and a coin tray.
Smaller rear storage tray.

Almost looks photoshopped...

^^^^^I was just going to say the same thing. My God I would have a hard time driving the car with all those gauges, flashing lights and alarms. Beautiful work and install though.

Thanks for the compliment.
Actually, the gauges are programmable to sound an alarm and flash lights only if something needs attention.
This makes it easier to drive without having to watch all the gauges when you're too "busy".
The system also has a play back feature so you can review the peak values when you're not so "busy".
I do like having the gauges so I can monitor things when I'm testing the car's performance and for peace of mind so I know what's going on with the engine.
