I'm a new nsx owner and I'm thinking of getting Volk GT-M matte black with chrome lips. I couldn't find a picture of an NSX that has these rims. What do you guys think? Would it look nice? esp with matte black inside and chrome lips?

Also, what sizes do you recommend? I wanna go 18s in front and 19s in rear. How wide should I get it? What size tires and brand should I get?

Thank you in advance!!! I love NSX!!! haha

We have a set of these on order for a customer (thanks Charles!) Hope to have some photos online on a NSX soon. We can get the spokes in matte black. That would look awesome!

The standard titanium gunmetal looks nice on this wheel too:

i've been looking at other rims too like these http://iforged.com/showroom/main.php?g2_itemId=6219

and also the Volk SF-Winning. damn... so hard to choose...

also, what looks better on a black nsx; matte black or gunmetal?

I think gunmetal would look better, give it a nice contrast and not so "matchy matchy." Not that their is anything wrong with black/black. It's all personal preference, really.

Color is personal preference but I would go with gun-metal this time around. The matte black makes the spokes/details disappear in dark lighting which really bugged me….

Btw you should not even compare Volk quality to Iforged…..trust me on this one. Take Volk and run!

No no Chris.... Thank you! You've been absolutely great to deal with and I appreciate all of your help on both my car and our mutual customers cars. If anyone else is looking to get these or any other wheels or upgrades SOS stocks, I highly recommend giving Chris a call!
Also, I'd be honored to have pictures posted with these on your website for visuals. They should be getting close...maybe a couple more weeks out I think.

Thanks,
Charles

sigh.... so i should let the iforges go cuz its too much... now i'm looking at these other rims here... http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/exterior_performance_products/NSX/Rays/Volk/gt-series/GT-S/

i'm really digging the 5 star rims for my car cuz i always wanted 5 stars and think it looks good... after thinkin and looking more at the GT-M's, i think they might be to wirery and make my car look like its not beefy enuff?

how would the GT-S look? with the titanium gunmetal thats illustrated on the link? anyone got links of pics of nsx with them on?

what about the SF-Challenge? http://www.scienceofspeed.com/produ...roducts/NSX/Rays/Volk/gt-series/SF_Challenge/

can i get a vote between these two rims? again... thanks so much for ur responses!!! i'm such a noob...

btw here is the link to the car i just bought. http://cardiff-classics.ebizautos.com/detail-1997-acura-nsx-t-3702198.html

i love ur nsx btw. i was actually looking at white ones before i found this... tight!!!!

so what size rims should i get for the volks? what size tires? what kinda tires? since those set of rims are about 3k, i don't wanna spend a lot on tires, but something nice with great traction. any suggestions?

Take your time. Took me couple of months to decide. Similar path. I did lots of searches through this forum, helps a lot.
Matte black will make it look ...'wicked' on a black car
Also agree with s4play, spoke/details would be lost in low lights. But if you go with polished lips it will still looks mighty nice! Can't go too far wrong with the 2 color you chose.
Asking opinion on sizes, my pick would be 18/19. Get the wheels picked out first... then the details of tire size and brand. One at a time.

so now i'm really looking into getting the Volk GT-S in gunmetal with polished lips or the SF-Challenges the same way. i just love the 5 star look on these cars rather than the GT-M look since the spokes are so slim? anyone have a pic of those 2 rims on a black NSX? would it look nice? of course, i'm going 18/19.

I've made up my mind finally! I'm looking to buy the GT-V's. Question...
What's the best offset for the Volk GT-V, 18x7.5/19x10.5? I have a 97 NSX-T Black, everything stock, not lowered. Would this set up be too aggressive? Would it stick out of the car and look ghetto? Also, what size tires and make would be ideal so I won't rub or have any problems down the line? Thanks in advance guys!

Did you decide on the color? Gold with polished lip perhaps?

You can find pictures of the 19x10.5 on our website here:

If you are considering the 18x.7.5 / 19x9.5, we have a set in Titanium Gunmetal in stock on sale. Here is a photo:
