Window operation

The drivers side window is hanging at the front as it nears the top. I pulled everyting apart and installed the "thingy", used correct part number grease on all the noted points. It does now operate smoother and quieter. Matches the passenger side now. But it gets very tight about 3/8" from the top. If you wiggle the glass or close the door to jar it it comes on up or most of the way. Only the front, the rear seems fine. I could not find any obstruction.

What is causing this? Any experience with this from anyone?

The angle of the glass is adjustable. It sounds like that may cure your problem.
