I know PMs don't help your post count but did you get my PM a week ago about cruise/meet? We're kinda running out of opportunities for this year. Alternatively are you and Dippy still thinking of a trip to Sydney at some stage?
 
John, i got your PM... I gave STEALTH an invite, but she hasn't called me. :( Was kinda hoping she'd come.

I can still do the weekend of dec.9th/10th. Stealth, if you're reading this are you available then for a mini cruise? Usually Sunday morning suits everyone. Stealth, check your email.

God, I loved Australia !!! :smile:

Was there twice, first trip to Sydney, Melbun (grin), Cairns, Surfer's Paradise, Townsville and Magnetic Island (5 weeks) and the 2nd time Sydney again, Melbun again and Tassy ! :cool:

Not to mention all the beautiful women there (Oops - guess I just DID ! :rolleyes::tongue::tongue::tongue:)
 
Nono 90 minutes by air is quick! 10 hours of freeway driving.... zzzzzZZzzz :)

It's just that if I'm travelling at leisure and for pleasure, taking a couple of nights and showing the NSX the alps and coast sounds like a lot of fun.

Maybe we could do one way of the trip together (via the freeway), or maybe I meet up with you guys and the Red Army on a weekend in Sydney?

As for the Melb mini cruise, Dec 9th is booked for my mum's birthday but the 10th sounds good to me.

However there is a possibility that I might need to take out the interior again around that time for fitting of new a/c parts which have just arrived. Currently waiting on my mechanic and if after doing so I then make him wait on me, it probably won't get done before Christmas. And it'd be nice to have A/C for Sydney in January :)

I don't mean to jerk anyone around and if it would be OK to catch up with you guys without being in the NSX, then the 10th would be great either way.

And lastly yes it would be great to meet STEALTH. I'm just a bit worried about her getting done for driving a "high powered vehicle" whilst on P-plates, the NSX does draw attention.

Neo, still havent given up on meeting the elusive Stealth? :wink: Hope is a dangerous thing. If you ever meet Stealth and Stealth happens to be a 40+ kg lady, please send her my apologies. :redface: Otherwise, god bless you. :biggrin:
 
Sorry Guys,but 9/10 December is not a goer for me. I do hope though, that all those on this forum who can participate will make the effort to get together and enjoy each other's company... as well as each other's cars.

Sorry I have taken so long to reply Neo, I have been so busy with work now it is close to xmas time. And I have not received any recent e-mail. Did you send it to my new address? I don’t know how you guy's find the time to go out on weekends and post on here! Do any of you even have jobs?

Ozziejohn you are right about me getting in trouble for driving a high powered car and many times my former bf got fines. I went for my first ride recently and I was scared about getting caught. Will the new hoon law apply to this?

I have too much to do, but I would see what I can do. Please keep me up to date on what’s happening there is a small chance I can get a day off soon.

Also I do love stealth bombers and even tried out in the RAAF to pilot one......but I was not accepted :(

You can drive the nsx under the laws that sydney has.
u cant drive and forced induction or V8's, its rather stupid you cant drive a 180 kompressor and its whole 105kw of power but a s2k is fine which is lighter, more powerfull n much faster.

i dont understand lol

You are right they don't but they have an exchange program, where they send some of there best over to America.

And what do you mean I am a troll:mad: I have two job's just to pay the bills. But if you went to meet me I am willing to arrange something, how does the 15th sound Neo?

Re/ a cruise... the 10th is still good for me, but i would prefer a date that OQQO can make it too... so i can check out his latest "attention to detail" mod. What about Daniel, would he be interested instead? (doesnt matter if you cant bring the nsx... it's the company that matters)


So we need to decide as a group whether to make it the 10th or just wait until AFTER the Christmas rush. Post your opinion.... are you IN or OUT for the 10th?

Gee John. that sounds like a great idea. Can we organise something for January as that will be the best time for me. Got to ask Grant to organise a drive of NSXs for us.

AS for the Dec cruise, anytime let me know.

Dippy, January sounds good to me. 4 questions for you:

How are you - have all the bumps and bruises gone now?
Are you thinking of going both ways on the Hume?
How long are you thinking of being up in Sydney for?
Do you have a preference between early and late January?

Neo - 10th is OK for me. I just can't promise the NSX. Hopefully we can talk more about the Sydney thing then.
 
It'd be great if the melbourne boys could make the trip this time.
I'd love to GOR Run again though!
