I agree. This is the one glaring omission from the otherwise excellent technical spec of the NSX.
Great engine but it is in-fact a 90 degree V6 :)
Due to the "odd" angles and therefore the exhaust pulse spacing it's difficult to make 90 degree V6's sound as good as 60 degree ones. Hence the...
I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned this but the 60 degree layout limits space "in the V" (between the cylinder heads) to allow for an efficient induction system to be fitted. Fitting DOHC 4 valve per cylinder heads i.e. physically wide, to a 60 degree V6 reduces the space even further. This size...
Hi Jaffaz, can you clarify the ECU you're planning to use for the 3 new fuel/ignition maps?
To my knowledge there has never really been an option for re-mapping our OBD2 cars, except for the piggyback devices used with turbo installations which I believe is the route you're ultimately going...
Has anyone determined the actual exhaust gas flow in this design?
It looks like the main exhaust gas flows from each cylinder bank both enter the large single muffler at its centerpoint. I wonder what happens inside that muffler? Are the two flows individually channelled out of each end or is...
I think you mean they (designs like the FN-09) don't make as much power as simpler ones (like the C3 Model 2).
They (the FN-09) do of course make more power than the stock exhaust system.

Porsche got particularly upset that the Nissan claimed a faster 'ring time for the GTR than they did for their 997GT2 and then cryed foul.
A UK online magazine investigated using an experienced but not expert Nurburgring driver. The story and comparison video with commentry are here...
Hi Papa, just looked at the pics of the Washi coloured wheels on the link provided by Honcho.
That colour is very differant to my wheels which I thought were Washi. I don't think mine have been refinished and they're a lot less copper'y. Here's a pic...

They are most of the cosmetic differances. The "NSX" badges on the door (handles) are differant ie a metallic silver/grey background. Here's a (bad) pic...
There are plenty more changes elsewhere. Primarily to the interior, seats, door trim, center console/door switch panel colour (this may be...
Here're some pics of mine...
and a link to some pics of a Type S Zero in Hong Kong... http://www.jamesleung.hk/showcarimages.asp?carid=CID0065&imgs=17

As Simon says NIOP is a darker/richer colour than IOP. Parked next to each other the differance is quited marked, IOP looks more Gold next to NIOP's more metallic Orange hue.
Here's another pic of Simon's (IOP) and my (NIOP) cars parked together...

Hey Jetpilot, welcome to the world of IOP
Not everyone will love it but those of us that do REALLY love it
While it looks great all the time, IOP looks sensational in bright sunlight, which of course you have in spades in Dubai.
I look forward to seeing the pics

There were indeed 2 pressure sensors, one inserted into the inlet grill (in the rear fender) and the other tee'd into the inlet manifold.
The line on the graph is the output of the second of these sensors (the inlet manifold one) during a W.O.T run. The output of the first sensor didn't change...
