1000.9 rwhp NSX

Congrats! to the owner and autowave for outstanding work!
I feel safe with just over 520 whp ,double is just insane.
U must be sideways all over as soon as u hit boost wow (scary).

the date is wrong, its not max 1000.9, its mar 2009 and you added an extra 0. but anywho that is insane. i use to drive my friends 500 hp supra and i thought that was crazy, boy it'll be easy to do 120 mph rolling burn outs now down

Danny,

Congratulations. That is VERY impressive. I'd like to think the motor still has my old heads on it  To think, I am happy with 1/2 of the power.

Again, congrats,

Ben

Hey Ben!

Yes, I believe your old heads are still on there. It's been a long time since we last communicated. You must be about 5 years into your practice by now. Hope all is well and please look me up if you are ever in Las Vegas.

Regards,

Danny

Smoked them from 70-120 on the 850 rwhp setup:

(first and only ticket in the NSX after 17 years of ownership..what can i say? It was a beautiful Sunday morning with nothing in front of me...)

I don't want to start a war, but i'm curious;

How would this compare against Heffner's 1005rwhp GTT? SPI Sledgehammer 1000rwhp 997Turbo?

Or other cars with that amount of power? I know from a stop, the NSX will get dusted (AWD > RWD) but from a roll? Will the NSX show the upper hand?

Congratulations by the way, that's an AWESOME achievement, iremember being told a couple of years ago, that it couldn't be done...i'm going to have to show your video to all those who said that to me!

Sounds like a fun comparo. The other two have AWD but I only have 2830 lbs (20 miles driving from a full tank) to haul.

OMG Danny that is SICK! Did u by chance take a video of the dyno?? I'd love to see u spin that thing up!:biggrin::biggrin::eek::eek::eek:

There's also the Heffner's FGT as well as the Hennessey TT Viper for the mix!

Sorry for the poor dyno video. Mark the mechanic recorded with an old school camcorder...the video is off the TV.
