I got a very similar deal.. 182k for 131.5k (mine has 6 miles).. and someone said it HAD to be an exposure vehicle.. no matter the mileage....

On the bright side.. here is my car getting loaded up.. should be here within 5 days!!!!

(sorry about quality of photo, it was text picture!)

Congrats!!!! You got a killer deal as well! What are the details on your NSX? And where did you pick it from?

Even though I didn't get quite as a good deal as you and a couple others, I'm so grateful to have gotten one at all. It is truly amazing now that I've had actual hands-on experience with mine.

Exposure was just a method for dealers to get extra depreciation on the vehicle. They got $2k a month for up to 12 months to utilize that program. One of my cars had no mileage as well even though it as exposure.

Your numbers keep changing. You said your car was $179,900 now you are saying $182k. You also said you got .0017 mf when the lowest mf was .0018. Either way you got a great deal and congrats on the car. Enjoy it in good health!

For some reason, the mods on Edmunds claim that the lowest Acura MF is .0017. However, I'm seeing .0018 everywhere. Personally, I'm targeting .0018, but if for some odd reason I'm surprised with .0017, I'll be happy.

In any case, congrats M-Rated! That's a killer deal on a great looking car!

My paper work definitely says .00170. I can show you my actual paperwork from my financial agreement... and it was an 179,900 MSRP but they had added the 2000 carbon fiber door sill trim that was added on the side hence the 182k after market. So.. no.. my numbers didnt change, just what i saw on monroney vs. What is actually on the car.

Where on the paperwork does it say the mf? Curious because on the 2 contracts I have I can’t find it.

The sills are a nice add especially for free. You killed it!

Yes they did say that. Not sure why they said that. When I run M-rated numbers it’s dead on to .0018. They might of said that in discussions but were off. I also had dealers misquoting residuals to me too. Who knows...

I really wish I knew what December holds for these cars. I'm really not sure if I want to get into one now or old off until December as they try to push the last of 2017 out of the show rooms.

Curious to see how this plays out as well. They sold a lot of cars these last 2 months. I heard from an Acura source that they were going to continue the program until end of December. Then a few days after dealers were telling me they got letters saying it was ending this month. I personally don’t think deals get any better then they are now. The cars are selling. Most of the cars left are high ticket cars and they can only discount them so much.

The December deals will be without the $30K incentive.

I can't see the dealers matching what is being seen recently.

Inventory is down to 112 new ones on Cars.com, which is like nothing and considering that the 2018s are expected to be mostly customer ordered cars.

That's interesting indeed. I wouldn't worry about dealers misquoting residuals because they can't change the residuals to try to make a profit out of you. Residuals are set directly by the manufacturer, not them. Money factors, on the other hand, can be inflated for dealer profit so I would be more careful about what the best rate is before dealing with them. Same with the acquisition fee...Always make sure you pay $595 and nothing higher, as anything higher would be additional dealer profit.

Anyways, thanks for all the wealth of info you've provided to this forum regarding prices. I can't thank you enough for that.

While this is very likely, I am hoping that the $30k is available through December.

Oddly enough, one of the local dealer's website is showing 2 2017 NSX's as "Coming soon". Very strange that Acura is still building 2017 NSXs as we're a little over a month into 2018. I inquired about them and they are high priced ones (>$190K). These are the units that would definitely benefit from the $30k incentive in order to move.

Yes the residual is the residual. Only time it can change is if there is mileage then there is some form of adjustment if it is over a certain number depending on the manufacturer.

The money factor indeed is the main tool a finance person in the dealership will try to mark up to make money on. This and the other random things like gap insurance, tire insurance, etc. The money factor is one of the first things I make sure of before I make any lease deal. In some cases it can go lower than the buy rate, but that would involve msd (multiple security deposits) and Acura does not do them.

No worries on the info. Hopefully I helped out a ton of people on here. I like to see people get the best deal possible. The easiest way to do that is give them the firepower they need which in this case is knowledge.

Best of luck!

did you pay a security deposit?

if not, then acura financial will kick back the deal and you'll resign at 180.

My MSRP was $179,900. The residual was $96,606 (36mo/10k). My rent charge was $13,999.

(96,606 residual + 132,000 (acquistion fee added to selling price) × .00170 = $388 × 36 months = $13,999

My MF is 00.170.

I've searching for the "right one" and the right price for about a month now, but after some back and forth with the dealership, picked her up last night! Now, I'm just super excited to have her in my garage! It's Casino White w/ Red and with all the C/F goodies!

MSRP is $201,500, vehicle selling price is $186,000 (Dealership gave me a discount of -$15,500.00) and with the Acura's Incentive of $30k, walked away a winner at $156,000!

If anyone in the NorCal Area is interested in purchasing one, here's what's left in the area:

Acura of Concord has (1) Black on Ebony, with all C/F Goodies.
Autonation Stevens Creek Acura has (1) Black on Red, with all C/F Goodies.
Fremont Acura has (1), 130R White on Ebony, Expose car with 377 miles on the Odometer, but unsure of options.
Acura of Pleasanton has (1), but unsure of color and options.
Los Gatos Acura has (1), Valencia Red on Saddle, but unsure of options.
Niello Acura of Roseville has (1), Curva Red on Ebony, but unsure of options.

Weather here is terrible today with rain and wind, so I'll post pics later.

Congratulations! I would love to see a photo of your Casino white. I'm also in SF and I got my nsx from Fairfield. Perhaps we should organize a bay area drive sometime. During my research I also looked into the 130R white from Fremont but they did not consider it an exposure vehicle event with 377 miles on it.
