which exhaust out there sounds the best? i hear that there was one that sounded as loud as a ferrari? which one would that be.

nope, we have not got a exhaust that can sound like a F355 or 360 modena yet.
There are a ton of video clips on you tube regarding exhausts for the NSX, so I would check those out. A lot of guys love the gt one and the new gt design exhaust. The tubi exhaust also sounds really nice.
gt1 5.1 is pretty darn cool....

You're not going to find an exhaust that will make the NSX's engine sound like a Ferrari engine. The flat-plane crankshaft and extra set of cylinders in the Ferrari's V8 will pretty much guarantee a different exhaust note. I had a Tiatec GT-LW on my NSX and it was a great sound, but it was different than the Ferrari V8s I've driven. Turning an NSX into a Ferrari isn't going to make the NSX any better, just less unique.

I have a Taitec GT-LW and Header combo and it sounds very exotic - defo not a Ferrari, but very nice sound indeed.
TBH, you will never be able to really tell if you like the sound over a video - it has to be heard in person.
Ask some guys in your area who are modded if you can getogether - I am sure owners are more than happy to assist!

Agreed!!! Especially the GT-One F1 V5.1 Titanium version... IMHO...
... is no doubt the best for sound and only weighs in at 14 lbs. And on a SC'd NSX with CT headers, above 5k RPM, it sounds very much like a Testarossa...I will see if I can put together a sound/video clip in the future that's worth listening to...

Probably never will. The NSX is not a Ferrari. There are some very unique systems out there though. GT-One, GT-Design, Gruppe-M{no longer avail.} that bring out the best of the NSX.
Best sounding setups I've come across om Prime has to be TURBO2GO's and Nsxsupra's cars - GT-One F1 v5.1, headers and Comptech super charger.

I have a GT-One F1 Ver. 5.1 w/GT-One headers & Random Tech Cats. I can honestly say, it scares guys on sports bikes around here... :tongue: It was so loud I recently installed silencer-inserts into my system.

Does anyone have a sound clip an NSX with a DC Sports Exhaust? I've used the search function and checked youtube without much luck.
Jim from Coz has some on his myspace but it's not as easy to isolate the sound of the DC alone since it's from a distance and muffled by other cars on the track.
Has anyone heard one in person? Care to describe? (i.e. in between Comptech, GT-One, etc?) Louder, softer? I've read it's one of the quieter ones out there for an NSX but some confirmation would be helpful.

Much too loud for me but it sure is awesome sounding.
I have a B&B Tri-Flo with DTM quad tips and it sounds badass. If you like the deep, throaty sound, it's great. Very quiet at part throttle, no drone, but it roars when you get into it.
