Glass Targa top

[A.S. Motorsport]

Hello everyone,

We are currently doing research into a Glass/Acrylic targa top for the NSX-T.

We would like to have some user input, wishes and ideas.
Secondly we would like to see who would be interested.

The concept is to create a targa top just like those on Corvettes (C4/C5/C6 one piece acrylic)

Something like this:

Does any one have photo's of the t-top it self and exact sizes.
We have searched our workshop manuals but can't find exact dimensions and photos or useful drawings of the part it self.
The only diagram in the manual show the part clearly but no sizes.

I'd be down for this PROVIDED that it was (1) smoked/tinted glass and (2) the same or better quality as the Saratoga Tops made for the Del Sol back in '96-'97. Fit and finish were impeccable---OEM quality, at least. One NIB sold on eBay this summer for $1K. Do that and I'm there.

Well, it's rectangular. I think it's somewhere around 14" x 36". Something like that should fit. The outer edges are about 1" shorter near the front of the car.

As well as tinting the glass, will it offer any UV protection?

Have you any thoughts on product weight vs OEM panel?
