That car is very legal and wicked wicked fast, too. They come standard with a 240hp 2.4. You can option the engine out from a S/C K20a, a Turbo'd Hyabusa motor or a 500hp high revving V8.

In California it probably won't be street legal... at least until the beginning of next year if he gets a number... being in AZ though, might be a whole lot different (motorcyclists don't need helmets in AZ, but they do in CA).

Its legal in all 50 states. I have an old friend from basic that has one in Cali. Just have to be careful in traffic.

If I lived near a track, this would be the car for me. Under 3 second 0 -60 time. Corners like nothing else.
Might even be a fun weekend car... (in good weather) $40k to start.
