Oh, come on now hugh... :)
We all know about speedo error. At 195, my speedo registers 220... :)
I think that kaws are a bit more optimistic than sucksuki's though :)

Still good to know there are others out there that use the bike to it's potential...

After throwing twin turbos on the Busa I had to replace the speedo with an airspeed indicator. Here's a shot of the bike's speedo at Mach .760 late at night on the Florida Turnpike. I'm glad I was wearing Depends. LOL

Seriously though, the Busa is gone. I sold it right after Len was killed on his ZX-14. Plus I didn't want to take any more risks, since bikes are on the dangerous side, due to an important certain someone in my life.

138 MPH in my RSX Type S, From Simi Valley to LA. My Passenger told me to slow down.

Zanardi #50 - 145mph for a few seconds on SB 101 FWY. during 2003 So Cal Annual NSX canyon drive trying to keep up with the pack. Rock solid, felt like going 80.

2001 S2000 - 135mph for 5 seconds on SB 2 fwy Glendale back in '02. Soft top down. A bit floaty and not so confidence-inspiring through soft curves at that speed.

2005 Lotus Elise - 135-140mph for ~ 20 min. EB 210 fwy returning from Vegas to Arcadia during Xmas holidays 2005. OEM Hardtop installed. The car became more glued to the road as speed picks up. Speed also dropped more rapidly than anticipated when I ease off on the throttle. Must have been the downforce generated by the bodywork.

2005 Bimmer 745i - 140mph for about 1 min. on my way back from Vegas 2006. Damn quiet and zero drama.

2005 Gulf TDI - ~180kph on and off on the German Autobahn from Montreux, Switzerland to Nurburgring. Surprisingly, it was fairly solid for a short-wheelbased econobox not designed for top speed. Wished it had more ponies to offer. :) It was also fun to see the cops in their green /white patrol car slowly disappear in my rearview mirror without worrying about involuntarily spending the night at the grey bar hotel. :D

How did you get "indicated" over 200km or 168mph on a Suzuki  they blink out the digital gauge after 200km?

How do I Know  Faster than You

180+ several times in my 300zx turbo. You have to use the RPMS and not gauge for accuracy, besides the fact it only goes up to 160. Only mods were ECU, down pipes, test pipes, exhaust, and intake. Very stable considering my rears needed replacement and I removed the stock wing. Probably the quietest car I've driven at 'high' speeds.

160+ on several sport bikes. Haven't gone over 100mph in years though.

In my NSX and 280 km/h ( 174 mph ) and that at 7000 RPM so the car had more to give, but there was no more road.. :D

Its not. I have been in a stage II srt-4 bouncin off the 155mph limiter.
