Neighbor's dillemma

My neighbor has a teenage daughter who is putting them through hell.

The daughter's boyfriend comes around late in the evenings, around 10pm, and stays outside in his car in the street. He calls the daughter to his car, and they spend time fooling around in the car.

The parents/neighbors are very upset at this disrespect, and have repeatedly told the daughter not to hang around outside.

Tonight the mother came out 3 times to tell the daughter to get back in the house, and tell the boyfriend to leave.

I was outside doing stuff on my car as I watched this all unfold. The kid parks his car very close to my driveway, so I could hear a lot of what was going on.

My neighbors have a lot more patience than I ever would have in this situation. The boyfriend is totally ignoring the parents and disrespecting them by never coming into the house, and intentionally fooling around outside the house.

Man I would be peeved if my kid did that.

What are you telling us for? Go give that badboy a good talking too... or a b*tch-slap to set him straight. :D

My guess is it's the daughter that's really rebelling..

next time call the police and say a suspicious person (give car description) is parked outside your house. Most likely a punk like that doesn't have a drivers license, registration or insurance so at least a good scaring from the police not to mention what drugs or nakedness they may find while he's parked there!

what kinda car?

Anyways, if this is disturbing you Frank... you have (3) choices:

- Convey your feelings to the neighbors (parents of the girl)

- Invite the girl & bf inside for some lemonade & privacy, they must be loco to do that in the Arizona sun! Talk about heat-stroke, no pun intended.

- Contact the local police directly and let them addess this matter. Loitering , soliciting, and public indecency in a private residential area is a no-no. If you want to be more anonymous, do it through the Home Owners Assn.

What I wouldn't do it confront the girl and/or her bf. No need to get involved directly.

If nothing changes, bests' to contact Mr. Wolf!

Looks like the "peace love and harmony" form of perenting isnt working for them  If that were my kid she and her Boyfriend would be invited inside for some serious a$$ kicking, and if she ever saw him agian she would b e sent to a reform camp...but I guess i'm just a hard a$$.

Call the police and bust them both.

It's not your business. Let them handle it. They're reaping what they've sowed over 15 yrs of parenting and there's little they can do now.

Raising kids is like paving a road. When they hit their teens, they pretty much have to drive on the course you've laid out. But, you get over a decade to do it, so there's no excuse for it leading off of a cliff. You can finetune their travel on that road in their teen years, but you're not going to change direction seriously.

If the girl's above the legal age in the state, you should try to get yourself a piece too...

Re: what kinda car?

LOL, some good ideas here. :D

This doesn't really bother me as much as I feel sorry for my neighbors. They are good people, but they've got a heck of a time with their teenage daughter.

I can't imagine what I would do if I were in their position - actually I could, but it wouldn't be nice... ;)

ROFLMAO...

Um, no... bad idea there.

I think the parents just need to take control of the situation. If all they do is scare him off or make him stop coming over and parking there, then they will just find another place to do this.

Or maybe you could call the producers of Maury Povich and have her sent to brat camp?

i feel your pain, i feel their pain. no offense intended, but it's not really your business to do anything about... if you know what i mean.

she's their daughter and they had a hand in creating what they've got on their hands now... doesn't make it any less painful to watch... especially the emotional crap they have to endure.

otoh, you might drop a dime to the police and let them know a car seems to be casing the neighborhood ....

I had some other ideas: When he first parks, drive your nsx in front of him. then get all cool & casual, walk up to his car and ask him.... "so you think you're a real man, eh?" :D

... maybe Osiris's suggestion of calling mr.wolf is best. He makes problems go away.

How bout whenever he parks his car just get out a lawn chair and sit next to his car. Its a win/win situation, either he leaves or you get a good show.

I am sorry LeftLane but this type of spelling and grammar is seriously not very good. Perhaps you should brush up on the English language. No disrespect.

In the senetence above, you mispelled the word, "Thing". I believe the correct spelling is "Thang".

Oops, I almost forgot to give my advice to NsxMas.

I do not have time right now to outlay the entire "plan of attack". For now, just make sure that you have these necessary items.

1. A pair of underwear (boxers will suffice if you don't have any of the old kind but the old kind is preferable for our purposes)
2. A single pair of white tube socks
3. Binoculars

I will get back with you when I have time but I will say that your plan of attack will be to utilize the aformentioned items, and these items only.
