I imagine that the Scion is on it for it's unique (by that I mean weird) design, it's separate brand, and the fact that they have to stop producing those ugly things soon. It's the woody of our day.

Well, the Integra GS-R and Type R didn't make the list. Considering the number of those that are trashed now, there will be very few clean ones in 10 years, much less five.

Guess it's time to sell the GS-R and S2000 since they didn't make the list :tongue:

I would agree on the surface. But watching Barrett Jackson in the last two years, there are some cars, that are just cars going for decent money. The NSX & Viper should go for considerably more, especially if they start putting Hemis in them .

Yer not kidding. While I like muscle cars and old hotrods from the 20's and 30's, the auction is really lacking. Only a few Ferrari's on the list, and only a few(one being a 512BBi) are really impressive. The porsches are a little better.
But where are the DeTamaso's, old Lambos(Miura, Espada, etc.), etc. I would think that some of these rares exotics would fetch a nice price. Perhaps the owners aren't willing to part with there cars?

I would say a scion is on the list because of toyota's efforts to create a "lifestyle" around the car. This sort of promotes cult car status later. It's questionable if it will actually happen but I can understand how it ended up on the list.

Funny thing as I was wanting to enter it in the Barrett-Jackson auction in Arizona. I was told that this was not the place for it and their Palm Beach auction in South Florida was a better place for it.

I would venture to say the Lotus Elise is the least produced car on that list. Only like 2500 Elises have been sold here and only about 300 Exiges. The Exige will be more valubale then the Elise. Although not drivable on city street the Exige 240R Cup will probably keep a high price.
