Thought give it a try- 02 conversion

Beautiful car and amazing progress! I am really glad you undertook the conversion. You did a great job! Can't wait to see more of your car!

This is a beautiful car. Very nicely done... exquisite, even.

Were you able to get the neutron white color without too much hassle? It was always my favorite color for the NSX, but not available in the States.

Thanks. It is not from Honda directly. I just let the paint shop source it, I gave them the paint code to get the right neutron white color.

You're lucky! I'm still waiting for Erick to send me my taillights! It has been over a year now :(

Henry.

I know. I had similar experience, received mine after a year. I bought a new tail light for him to work on. I'm reasonably ok with it as long as I got them. But I must admit the tail light were done well.

Thanks! Still work in progress as I am looking to change the powerplant/transmission and give it a bit more push with force induction. I've deposited for a turbo kit, still waiting from ProSpeed, Brian to reply my email!

I know this is an old thread but I'm happy to see it. I've always wanted an NSX but prefer the laster look. Now that I see it's common to swap out the body pieces, I can concentrate on getting the best car instead of a particular year.

Never really taken picture too much picture of the car lately.Nothing new. This afternoon I just take some new pictures in the construction area nearby. No photoshop here. Done the black&white on iphoto.

While at it, I took a video of the exhaust sound. Nothing you guys haven't heard before. Was too lazy to remove the plates, sorry.

i see in your tread, you have make your headlight wiring

i have a daliracing mounting kit for my conversion but i don't find how to wiring the high and low beam ...

please can you let me know the color to fix ?

thanks

(sorry for my langage, i am french)

Hi there,

For the 02 headlight, I used DF's instructions. Here's their link from them, for the wiring both low and high beam. I would recommend when doing a 02 conversion have a look at DF's parts and suggestions. When I did mind, I bought the harness from them.

Good luck. Let us know how you get on.

is that the NSX-R type diffuser you have there? I like this diffuser better than the larger diffusers out there. it looks like it's part of the bumper/valence and not something hanging down the back.

Very nice restoration! I decided to shave my side reflectors, on this 91 Project NSX I am building. Looks so much better, imo...

Thank you. For the asian market it's from factory that it does not have the rear side reflectors, but I agree it seems to look 'cleaner' without it.

It's the Downforce CF NSX-R Style Sports Diffuser. I believe both DF and SOS sells them. I like it because it's pretty subtle.
Here's another pic. Hope it's a bit clearer

yep it looks nice. I like it much better than other diffusers. Looks like I will have to pay a visit to DF.

Nice vid. How much does he charge for filming? I want one too.

Hi Ismail, did you manage to contact Brian of Prospeed and tar delivery of your turbo kit?

I did managed to contact him. My kit is still not received just yet. And thanks again for that useful email! I haven't pursuit fully just yet. Maybe after I come back from my travel. Thanks Shaw.

Here's the video he filmed and edited all by himself. He's quite into videography, and made this before the start of his next academic study. I thought I shared the video.

Thanks! I recommend you to do it. As a personal collection as such. They guy is easy to work with. Remember he did it alone basically... and completion after all the footage taken was very quick.

Now if we could only get NSX's Gone Wild this quickly... :frown:

 hehe... I know. I'm still hoping to see the complete version here!

From first time meeting the guy to completion, 10 days. That's with 4 mini shoots. I think he have enough shots to do a longer video but he limits it to the music length. He said he'll try to do a longer version.
Initially I just wanted a very short video of tunnel runs. He ended up doing the clip... and the tunnel run is not even in there! haha.

Nice video, even nicer NSX

Thanks!

I don't think we'll ever see the completed version. It's been a couple years already, hasn't it?
