Video from this last Saturday at ButtonWillow. Hadn't been to the track in like 5 years, never in config 13 and never with a RWD car. First day out with the new aero too so I was kinda fiddling with the wing settings but the conditions were such a moving target and my almost cording r888r's in the heat were not helping things. after the first few sessions I decide to drive it as was. The car was pretty clearly tail happy during the day- it made it fun, for sure, but probably not the fastest I coulda been. I'm looking forward to getting back on the track with a new set of NT01's and all issues sorted on a cooler day and see what I can do.

I did have all sorts of clutch issues though, I think I had a small weep in the slave cyl so I had to bleed it a few times through out the day then pump it like 15 times to get it into reverse to get back in my pit spot.

anyways--

From the photos looks like the new splitter had zero deflection downward. Told ya that stuff is stiff.

sent from my crappy cell phone.

good Job....

I was wondering. Maybe Billy can chime in. ..Wouldn't the nose up attitude of the car not help also. Looks like he needs to adjust his ride height. I do like that track. It looks fun!!

Yeah DiBond, I got 1/4 inch sheet cut to shape x2 and bonded them together to make a 1/8 sheet with 4 layers of aluminum. I was alittle worried, even ordered splitter rods from APR but it held up fine without them.

That was my next question, becasue of the aero I set the V3's on click down all around so im at 3-clicks to full hard. Is there a recomended setting that works when you have a wing and splittr?

I think the pictures may be a bit deceiving as far as angle of attack since they are all take just coming out of a turn under full throttle or mid apex.
