Just looked at the FAQ's and the VIN number on the car at the auto show was #127 so that is definitely the press car....

I had short gears and the 4.23 in my 93 and now have the 6 spd with the Comptech 4.55 in the 99. Both set-ups are great and neither suffered from any whine, other than normal gear noises. At highway speeds with the windows up it sounds like a regular Honda to me...

You will not lose any top speed since the NSX will not red-line in high gear due to air resistance. You will just reach the same top speed at a slightly higher RPM with the 4.55 R&P vs OEM. The difference is gas mileage, IMHO, is not worth thinking about, even at today's gas prices. Might make...

Simple.... Tires as needed, oil/filter every 3000 miles, follow the manufactures routine maintenance schedule, and drive, drive, drive.
