Not sure whether i'm happy or horrified that the S2000 made the list.

And Porsche Boxster's made the list too... i guess because women think if they kiss the frog it will turn into a prince. :p

Update: some more chick-magnet cars

More curious about the omissions:

The CLK430 cab, Porsche Boxster, C5 Vette convertible, S2K, Audi TT roadster and BMW 330CI are all decent convertibles... am surprised the Miata, VW Beetle cabrio, VW (golf) cabrio, Benz SLK and BMW Z4 didn't make the cut.

The Jeep and PT Cruiser are "cute/cult" vehicles -- surprised the new Mini didn't make the list.

The others (VW Jetta, Integra coupe) -- I guess these appeal to/target what (BMWCCA) Roundel editors would consider the "steno pool" crowd. :D

#############

A REAL sportscar would've probably been out of place on the list...

The list seems to include cars that women tend to drive/buy hence the attraction. I wonder if they based this list on percentage of women buyers of each car or opinions based on a survey.

If you look on the left hand side of this site, you'll see a category labeled, "More Galleries". Click on the "Acura Concepts", and you'll see two pics of a 2002 silver NSX.

Or click here...

That makes a little more sense... I haven't seen too many women drooling to get ride in someone's Integra. :D

FWIW, jeeps (the old YJ's and Wranglers) really ARE chick magnets. I knew one guy who could literally pick up girls by just cruising his jeep up and down the bar strip here. They'd literally run up and jump in. Unbelievable.

This jeep didn't happen to be yellow??? If so, it might have been Bill [MYNSX] ... which is no surprise; that sort of thing still happens to Bill all the time. :D

Photo of MYNSX's old yellow jeep check out the suspension on this baby! This was taken before the roof-vent, low-profile wheels, and lowering-springs were installed. ;)

BTW, love the Ren&Stimpy Avatar. Happy Happy, Joy Joy. :p

Ridiculous list(s). But I guess anybody that has an online automotive site (or is trying to start one) is entitled to their own views.

That '02 NSX does look nice though.

Regards.

I question the research methodology.

What age group was surveyed?
Multi-cultural group at that?
What socioeconomic target group was questioned?
Which part of the country was targetted? Urban, rural, suburban?
Is this a national survey or international?

I take these kinds of articles only with a grain of salt. Even thought the NSX is not on the list, I still get a fair share of women drooling over my car.
