Prospeed NSX Sport Exhaust System

UPDATE!!!

Hi guys, Sorry for being slow to respond to my messages and threads. I'm back in school full time so its extremely difficult for me to offer good customer service and go through school at the same time. It's been insane! I want to let you know that I will continue to offer all my products to the NSX community. My colleague Scott AKA Frumpybumps will officially take over all orders for me. He knows everything there is to know about my products and he can offer a quick and excellent customer service. This is the only way right now for me to still offer my products and finish my education. I hope you guys understand. All of my existing orders will still be handled by me and I will do my best to take care of you. Thank you all for understanding! We will be offering a special groupbuy on most of our products to kickstart Scott joining the Prospeed family. =)

Thank you,

Brian

If you have any questions or want to place an order please PM frumpybumps or the prefered method is to email Scott at [email protected]

Hi Guys, I am officially back as a Vendor! I've been so busy with school and I appreciate everyone's support and understanding during this time. Scott and I have been working hard to get orders filled and want to get back to offering our great products to the community as quick as we can. You can PM me Prospeed or PM frumpybumps for any questions or orders. Thank you again!

Brian

I will be having some New years specials on all my products. PM us for details.

I had my Prospeed exhaust installed at Niguel Motors this weekend and the difference over my OEM NA2 exhaust is huge! The car feels and sounds great.

The noise levels are very reasonable:

The biggest difference is at idle.
Cruising is fine.
WOT is fine.
There is NO drone at highway speeds, and I'm usually a few hundred RPMs higher due to the NSX-R final drive.

All in all, an excellent exhaust. I couldn't be happier.

Brian,

Can you post pictures with the burnt Ti tips from the rear? Thanks.

I have a couple of questions. On your sound clips, were they made with TP's or stock cats, or your HF cats? Looking at both NA and FI versions, is there any significant sound difference in two? I'm running your 200 cell cats is why I'm asking.
Thank you.

Hi Brian, what is the sound pressure level of your exhaust measured at 45°, level with exhaust, 0.5m (that's about 2ft) away ?
If you can have measurements @ WOT, 3000rpm and 6000rpm for reference that would be great. Local tracks have a limit of 95 dBA which is very limiting in terms of exhaust choices.. tough time finding any suitable product (only available one to me in EU is Taitec GTLW, seems too loud).

FYI our exhaust isn't as loud as GTLW and much quieter at cruising.

I can back that claim up. I swapped out my GTLW for the Prospeed. The Prospeed is noticeably quieter. Not stock quiet, but a still a lot more quiet than the GTLW. I can't post any sounds clips since I sold my 92 and am still waiting to purchase an NA2, but the Prospeed will go on my NA2 once I acquire it.

What? ! You sold your NSX? The one that is on your aviator? The one with the Mode4 front bumper you just got painted and installed???

Not to go too off topic, but yes. I'm looking for an NA2. I sold my 92 basically stock, so I kept the Mode 4 bumper, iLift, Prospeed and such. I'll be back shortly. Hopefully.

Back on topic. In the short time I had the Prospeed exhaust on my car I liked it a lot better than my GTLW. I can't wait to hear what it sounds on the 3.2L motor with stock cats. I had prospeed cats on my 92.
