The Down and Nasty if you don't want to click..., $47k for a 2003 with 40k miles??? WTF.

That seems Soo Low for this Miles and Year? Is the Market really heading this direction with this car or is this a one time deal? Or Do some sellers not know what they have and just want out of it?

As a current seller of a 2003 this made me take a step back and reconsider if my car will ever sell at my asking price!

Agreed - too low

But he is just asking for a lease take over, basically he doesn't care about he $$$ he spent for the time he has leased it.

The economy is still in bad shape, you can get good deals. I know someone that picked up a 91 worked on by Driving Ambition with 30-50K in it... for less than 30K.

In any case - CASH IS KING still.

Damn.

by driving it. You are just upset because someone beat you record.

Steveny, he is upset because some one actually enjoy having a NSX as a daily driver:biggrin:

Given the economy and the fact that for many, an NSX is a discretionary expenditure, the price doesn't surprise me. I've been watching local prices carefully since spring. A very nice 2000 w/37K miles sold by an Acura dealer for $39K (forum member), 98 Yellow with 30K miles sold for $38K in exceptional condition (private sale), my 97 w/37K in exceptional condition and no deferred maintenance for $35K (private sale). It's the only reason I was able to finally get in to one so while I'm glad, I know many are disappointed to see this trough in pricing. However, that's exactly what it is, a trough and I suspect in two to three years, you'll see pricing start going the other direction and continue to do so for quite some time. People are fighting to keep their houses and jobs, doubtful that an NSX would be high on their list and yes, some NSX owners have their teat in a wringer just like everybody else.

^ Wow those are some cheap prices. I couldnt find anything like that on autotrader nationwide.

All three of those, including the Acura dealer w/the 2000, were on Craigslist which would have been an odd place to find an NSX a couple years ago but if you do a multi-state search using craigshelper or similar reader, you'll find quite a few of them listed. I've about given up on Autotrader as it is mostly dealers and generally overpriced.

Nope...there is a picture of the odometer with over 101,000 miles on it! WOW! How in the world do you put over 101,000 miles on a 2004 NSX-T?

very easy to do that. on my first NSX I put about 50k in one year. To get to work it was about 60 miles one way. This was almost 8 years ago so gas was cheap back then. now with the one I got after that one I only put about 6K a year tops.

Hey guys, me being a car dealer, ive seen my share of cars go supercheap at local auctions due to the economy, manheim pa had a 97 with 68k on it, fully modded for 29k................i know what your thinking(i had left by the time it went through). All exotics, suv's and luxury sedans are going for peanuts til the economy shapes up.

It seems ANY channel you turn on these days is talking about financial woes and stock market problems. With these kinds of problems the car's are the last thing people will think of - especially a special niche car like the NSX which is not crucial for transportation.

I'm willing to guess maybe a small 3-5% of the American population is financially stable so the rest of the nation is feeling the downturn in some form....

I recently was browsing some car ad's and saw a SL65 go for $103k, considering the super low miles, that is almost $90k off sticker!

I don't know why this is a surprise to people. This is the worst economy in many years. I have seen layoffs at places I never expect to see them. Honestly, people are fighting for jobs and trying to keep their houses. I am surprised we haven't seen more crazy price drops.
