Hi everyone. Long-time lurker, first time poster. After decades of hard work, countless hours of obsession, and constant nagging of my girlfriend-turned-wife, yesterday I took delivery of my black NA1. Thanks to Prime and all of you OG's who I have been reading for all these years for helping me along during the journey. I look forward to contributing to the community and am stoked to finally be an NSX owner! Pics or it didn't happen you say...I will post one once I figure out how to...NSXPrime noob status.

Congrats!!! We all know the feeling, after 12 years of ownership I’m still in love with mine

My King: tis' a 91 on NA2 targa wheels.
anesthesia--it's an unreal feeling. The start of a beautiful friendship. I've had my s2000 for 11 years and I'm still head over heels.

ps- my name is Rob, used Winston as my handle since MrWolf was already taken ;)

The NSX is a great stablemate for an S2000 Rob. I've had my first year S2000 since the fall of 1999. It is like having a four wheeled motorcycle. I've only had the NSX for eight and a half years. Haven't explored the limits of the Acura like I have the S2000. The NSX has a more refined feel, but when pushed, can be very entertaining. Honda's two best cars ever!

Cheers Rob !! Welcome. I've had 2 S200's, and am on my 3rd NSX ---- nothing better. Great group here with lots of knowledge and friendly help. Of all the cars I've owned, there is something really special about the NSX. Jay

So I was lucky enough to spend some quality time with both my NSX and S2000 this weekend...dream come true! I feel like the cars complement each other in such a lovely way: my S2 feels even more like a jekel-and-hide go-cart now, and after driving the S2 around, jumping into the NSX is just awesome--steering feel, more linear power delivery, and torque! I also love the interior feel of my NSX, it's like this weird mix of my 91 ex accord, my 96 GSR, and my AP1. I just wish I was a little lower in the seat, I have a backyard special seat rail in the s2 and I feel perfectly positioned whereas I feel a bit high in the NSX.

Your car looks great. I couldn't entertain lowering my car from stock because of our third world roads and a hip that should have been replaced a decade ago!

If you like the original seat design and do not feel like swapping for an aftermarket seat, you can modify the bottom seat cushion. It can be removed and replaced with a lower profile one. Unfortunately I think they are out of production, but it can be easily made by any shop....or a fun DYI if you are good at sewing.

Here is the Dali version (no longer in business)

Thanks! I read through these threads after my first test drive of the car. I think I might try to DIY it someday

Congrats! Looks like my twin. The lowered look really benefits from some 15mm front and 25mm rear spacers :) Enjoy!!!!
