Ok went by there to today its almost fully pulled.
both sides of the car line up perfectly
the targa top had a small gap in one of the corners but that has been fixed
they now need to do the final pull
but they need to remove the rear interior glass
they dont want to break that either.
Uggg

so soon uggg I am getting ants in my pants to work on this thing already god.....

I was wondering how this project was coming along.

Hopefully it won't be too much longer before you can get your hands on it, do your magic and get it to the paint shop.

I'm sure it will turn out beautiful.

Ok they pulled the rear window out,
all the panel look good
all the lines look good.

they are doing their final pull tomorrow to make sure everything is to spec.

now I am wondering what the Bill for this is gonna be LOL

since the car sat for 2 weeks without any work being done to it.
and all of the work getting done in the past week or so.

what is the going rate for this kind of work
Pbassjo ? so I dont get squeezed LOL

so when I get the car back then the fun begins.

Oh yeah I opened my Shop.
I have 6 cars i am working on now.
and still have my day job. LOL
I am in hog heaven. my passion for the NSX is even stronger now

buying lifts and pro-tools is very expensive my bank account is really taking a pounding. but worth it in the long run.
no specialty NSX shops in tampa that I know of so come one come all.
any words of advice from the pro's out there?

I am excited guys if there is anything I can do for you guys just need to ask.

Congrats on your shop shawn, that's really awesome. My advice- get a speed dial to LarryB and you will become the next NSX guru. :D

See you at NSXPO!

I think its time for a little more info Shawn....from where i sit you were an industrious IT guy who was nsx obsessed and a backyard shade-tree mechanic. You are a newlywed and a new dad...how on earth did you manage to start a auto restoration business:eek:

im not rich, i didnt get a huge inheritance. didnt win the lotto.

me and my wife worked very hard to become debt free
we are almost there.
with 2 paychecks working together to pay off 1 debt at a time, then move on to the next one it feels good.
so when we work its for us and not for a debt hanging over our heads.
that leads to depression no sleep etc.etc.

we have a ways to go but its good right now but could come crashing down at any moment its a weird feeling the good and bad at the same time.

I was thinking the same thing doc.

Shawn- if you're successful at all of the above, especially with 2 young kids, my hats off to you!

I would hardly say I am successful raising 2 kids LOL
I do my best. but one thing is sure grey hairs are poping out all over LOL
so if that means I am doing a great job then yes LOL

36 years old Yikes.

my dad always tells me "tackle one thing at a time and you will always stay on top."
