So how'd it go ladies?

John, it was fantastic...starting with the drive routes, Restaurants, Brewery , Winery tours we visited, it was just great.

Plus on the Tech sessions, we learn a lot about Areodynamics..........so take that BIG ASS Wing off your car, it all about BALANCE.

I sent this to Dave:

Started out with a patio party at the Hotel and we had a good sized crew there about 20 people, 15 cars or so. Saturday I went for a ride for a few hours, awesome weather - should have left a little earlier to avoid traffic on the hiways, but it was great. They did tech sessions which was really good apparently. Kevin knows his stuff about aero I hear, and Garrick did an awesome job - he must not have finished because over lunch he showed us why BOSE amps blow up.

Good cruise - a great route. They stopped for pictures at the top of the mountain - we went to Creemore for a tour of the brewery which was great, and an awesome lunch. Really nice lady owned the restaraunt and it was German food yummy!

Saturday dinner in the village and then hung out in Neil's villa. Good party - Brad made some posters of XPO which were very cool and was showing off his iPad. I was in bed by 2am, and Garrick was working on Stu's car the whole night till 1 am! Stu didn't come he just gave Garrick his car to drive.

Sunday I went out with Garrick for the cruise and we went to a neat little winery then home. I missed out on Sunday lunch & carting as I had a long haul home. I'll post some pics later on.

Thanks for a wonderful event. We had a great time and we couldn’t ask for better weather. Everything was just first class. A big thank you to the organizers!! Thought to share a few low res. pics from my phone (except the one with the girl, that was courtesy of Ric).

How about that, I ask about how things went the the Prez gives me grief over my wing. Shaddap! plus I get enough about it from Kevin in Ottawa as it is...

Started out with a patio party ..... ..... I'll post some pics later on.

A few things that were not mentioned:

When Sean went for a bike ride, the rest of us spent Sat afternoon doing donuts in the parking lot. To keep the competition fair, all participants used one car - that's when Stu's car came in handy. Thanks for the test pilot Stu, and thanks for the keys Garrick.

The American Embassy sent their security home for the weekend and we all had fun at the Embassy with Neil and the Gang drinking Canadian beer.

There is a rumour that Est Fest is going to the Ottawa area next year ... perhaps even a wind tunnel test! Let`s keep pushing Kevin to make this happen.

Thanks to Erin Mills Acura and Oakville Acura for supplying us with door prizes for the event - I believe everyone greatly appreciated their generosity.

We went off roading on Sunday afternoon for about 10 Km. Thanks again Stu for the loaner car.

Special thanks to Bram & Bash for working out the finer details.

Daria

^^^^^ What he said! Was really great due to the ONT dealer's license plate - if anyone reported us in the yellow/yellow '03 NSX it may/not come back to RED. ^^^^^

I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend! What a great venue with the most amazing cruise up and down blue mountain, Creemore brewery where some of us had the opportunity to drink right from the holding tanks.

Kevin was awesome at the tech session, it was great to have Rick come up for just the day and Sean was a great room mate. Though on Friday it was only Henry and I who played golf, I must say that it was one of the finest courses in Canada. Up there along with Angus Glen, Glen Abby...

We enjoyed the F1 qualify / race (nice move Vettel...), I was able to do some tech work. I was really looking forward to karting but by Sunday I really missed my family and with Maddie calling me up and saying "papa, come home now..." it was hard to stay much longer.

And as always, its great to hang out with the gang...

Half way through the first cruise at the top of Blue Mountain

Judi and I had a GREAT time, so many thanks to the organizers!
What a beautiful part of the country to enjoy with good cars and even better people
The American Embassy indeed hosted a gala event, and we're happy to report that the condo survived it with nary an international incident
Thanks again to Brad for the wonderful composite poster of photos from NSXPO 2009, what an unexpected delight!!!!!!!!!

Brian
(hope to see you all again in Vegas!)

Great pics guys!

Est Fest in Ottawa? Hmmm....

Maybe Kevin will take the helm at organizing that one :)

Any more T-shirts left?

John, I'll send a Tee shirt to you XL I assume?

For other NSXCC members that did not attend Est Fest, we have some Tee shirts left over from the event, if you would like one they are $10.00 each (covering the cost of the Tees).

Whatever your biggest size is, I like them loose :)

I'll post up a thread in the Ottawa list and see who wants one.

Urbs and I had a blast! Thanks to everyone who came out and made Est Fest 2010 a success!
