Get rid of that Benz and park the NSX and R8 next to each other on a FLAT surface Alex! The R8 looks so phat....haha
Haha ill ask next time. Just so happened we had open stalls to park next to each other

Oscar, I love your nSX/Lambo shoot - those were some sexy shots, I want to use that first picture you posted as a wallpaper....

Love this thread. Great pics! I need to post mine next to something awesome...My NSX is in hibernation right now lol I have been wanting to take her out for a spin recently.
Sadly what you say is hard to swallow but true ~ I'm also a diehard nSX nut but when it's parked next to modern day exotics, the NSX looks dated from certain angles. Then again comparing it to a F-car like the 458 shows that a 15+ year old design can still be worthy of a comparison makes me feel good!

The NSX has way better proportions and looks sleeker. that 458 looks kinda larger next to X.
Strangely i never noticed that in real life...
A R8 is 75.0 inches wide. Almost the same as a Gallardo ( they are based on the same platform after all). I cannot seem to find a good number on how wide the wide body kits for NSX's are since there are so many options.
Looking at the Taitec ones it appears to add about 2 inches to the each so which would make us as wide as a R8. Whats really interesting in that the F355 is also 75 inches wide but the car does not have the same width in the front as the rear. The back is actually much wider than the front which is why when you snap a photo of the F355 and the NSX it looks similar width

You see how its wider at where the back wheels starts? It would be nice if the nsx could do this too, but too bad our freaking front wheels are too narrow to run a even crazier stagger.
Another interesting tidbit is that the Mclaren F1 is almost identical in size to the nsx ( the nsx is actually a few inches longer ). I guess when Gordon Murray wanted to make a everyday usable super car he thought the NSX was the ideal size.
are you saying the nsx does not have the wedge shape?
I guess i have to go out to the garage and measure it. I was under the impression the rear is wider than the front as everytime i back into a parking spot, if i lined up the door jam to the line, the car will be off position.

There is ~1 degree, possibly 2 draft angle. Just go and take a look at your NSX, its quite noticeable :smile:
