Nice to see the F1 fandom is still alive on here. It gives me a place to vent after Max loses to Ham-bone’s engineers again. So, so sick of the Merc’s domination. Hopefully they had to limit resources for the car to pay for Lewis’ ego.

I'm not trying to guess what docjohn intends to say but I think we can expect faster lap times tomorrow as it's the last test day. RB and MCL did long runs today. Not sure if MERC is really sandbagging.

That explains the poor lap times. Tomorrow’s hangover laden times will be better. Nothing gets you straight faster than driving fast!

They are sandbagging like they did a couple seasons ago.

Yup...they always sandbag during testing. However, it seems that the car is a bit unstable, not as planted as we have come to see in the past years.

Easy issued to address....the gearbox failure is more problematic

It has been stated several times by the spectators that the MERC seems to be unstable/unbalanced, esp. compared to the RB. But I don't think it's an easy fix. It will take them a few races to correct it whereas RB had the best testing session ever. The technical problems of MERC even made it worse. While RB was able to understand how the car reacts on changes MERC had to sort out two problems.

Let's see how Perez gets on with the car...

Looks as if RB may be the match to the Mercs....

At least this week.

The Ferrari power unit seems much improved.

Fernando Alonso is old, probably past his prime. We shall see if he races the whole season, or jumps off for Indy or LeMans!

Surprised at both Ferrari and Alonso. Vettel should have done better. Time will tell.

It would be Verstappen’s race to lose, but hard to rule out Merc.

Great job by RB and Honda. The Honda engine is a superb upgrade. They have pushed their 2022 upgrades forward as it is their last year in F1 Powerplant is smaller, lower and more powerful. The Alpha cars with the same plant did well as well. Hopefully it is an interesting season!
